Re: flying Air France' latest 787-9 F-HRBD

Nice. Booked that same flight in september but F-HRBA never took off from CDG. They eventually sent an A319 some 3 hours later... Btw when checking online the day before, seats upgrades were available for 9€, including J seats. Selected 2A...later confirmed to 9A in Y+...

Re: Where will you fly in 2018 ?

Wow ! RTW from CRL !!! That would be a first ? Call the news  Almost an entire LCC routing indeed, my goal was to make it as cheap as possible and I couldn't find interesting Asia-America flights this time so I used an award flight. Total paid for this trip is less than 500€ 8-)

Guilty !
I once booked FLL-CLT-MIA-SJU as a single ticket (and actually cheaper than the same MIA-SJU flight). The look of the check-in agent at FLL was priceless

VIE-BTS, sadly no longer available.

Also the kind of routings we avgeeks can create to get from A to B will certainly look odd to a vast majority

Flew from AMS to the US last week and queues were not long at all, be it for security or passport control, a nice surprise for sure :)

There are 14 replies to the original post and NOTHING about the story itself, just a bunch of immature kids bashing each other, like on almost every thread :( I'm only surprised that someone didn't wrote yet somethin...

There is one continent missing on the list: ours, Europe! Too many destinations are served only by one carrier, and a little competition would help. Other destinations have been served once, and then abandoned. With the constant increase in air travel, they could be reinstated. I let you guess and ...
