Re: BRU pax operations: the future
Why not SN? If the flights are successful enough for 9W to keep, they could be for SN as wel.. Of course...beter to see SN than AI...but let dream... BRU DEL BRU = one aircraft BRU BOM BRU = one aircraft BRU LOS LBV 4/W + BRU YUL BRU 4/w + BRU BOS BRU 5/W = 2 aircraft... It's not a dream...it's a b...

Re: BRU pax operations: the future
Emirates: due to traffic right restrictions they can not go to a second flight without a new bilateral agreement. Expect them to go to an A380 somewhere in 2017, as the airport advised they need around 18 months to be ready for scheduled operations. Their schedule is one of the best around in Europ...

Re: 11.8% growth for SN + record of best ever day on top!
It's really becoming routine for SN to be amongst Europe's fastest growing airlines month after month, comfortably beating a whole bunch of lower rated, no service carriers. Brussels Airlines : +11,8%; LF 79,3%; 0,745m pax Wizz Air : + 22%; LF 90,9%; 1,813m pax EasyJet : + 7,6%; LF 93,1%; 6,610m pa...

I thought the total number of pax in BRU in 2014 was 21.993.000 I remember that because it was just nearly 22 M...my mistake ? I read here 21.754.000... Thx for information. BRU states 21,933,190 but it happens that different methods are used to record statistics. It happens a lot with Eurostat dat...

Re: 12.5% growth for Brussels Airlines in August.
Hi all, I have the feeling (I have no factual information at all): Adding of 2 A330 although I hope that there will be 3 :D . Adding Boston (5x/w), raising Washington to daily, adding Libreville (3x/w) and eventually some frequencies (assuming the three planes and one used for replacing an existing...

That so called "Stupid shopping mall" is only a few meters that you have to go through. It's even not big but a very small one. If you don't agree with that so called "shopping mall" write your complaint then to the airport itself or is that too much asked? ;) ;) Wel said ! I ta...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
I don't know if this is the best topic to post this, but as it is related to the shift of NBO from SN to LH (and ACC back to SN) I think this news fits here. LH is seriously downgrading capacity on this route. Instead of operating an A340-300 with 279 seats (starting 25 Oct) they'll use a Privatair...

Re: Jetairfly in 2015
I remember being in Kinshasa, and the word in Lingala for 'airplane' was 'Sabena'. (Logical, as the first airplanes they ever saw had big 'Sabena'-titles all over them). Locals would see an Air France approaching FIH and say 'Voila, un Sabena d'Air France' :D Of course the AF personnel didn't like ...

I avoid them at all cost...The train trip is hateful, double check in.. security at CDG.. the trip takes for ever..and the return is even worse, often having to wait at a damp dark drafty train station at CDG for an hour or 2 to take a train that makes a detour through Lille europe!!! No Thank you....
