Re: Ryanair comes back to Ostend !
  The change is: all people pay and only the few who actually fly with FR or who have a job at the airport get the return. Wonderful. And all airlines asking for (more) subsidies? What a perfect proposal  , but not my idea of a market economcy   If we would follow thi...

Re: Fly to New York for just 199,73€ incl. taxes!!!
Just to let anyone know that I am back from Newark since this morning. I was one of the lucky people who enjoyed the € 199,73 fare (thanks to expedia.fr). Everything went smooth. Security people at the check-in counter at BRU asked me just once what the meaning was of that 3rd flight (Los Angeles - ...

Would this mean that the numbers of based aircraft (currently 8) will be reduced instead of increased?

Stockholm is indeed back, this time with 2 daily flights. The flights will be operated with a Skavsta based aircraft, so daytrip returns from CRL to NYO will be tricky.

New Ryanair route to be announced very soon:
Charleroi - Rygge, Moss
For those of you who think that Rygge is a southern holiday spot with palm trees and bikini girls: forget it. Rygge is in Norway.
No news yet about frequencies or start date.

Would this order only be for narrow-bodies like 737 or A320? Or would MOL also order his first wide-bodies, for his transatlantic flights?

I really don't see the problem. If the security checks need to be more strict, then they should hire more staff. Is that so difficult?

Exactly my thought. And if MOL is indeed planning to visit Santiago, it won't be to announce just 1 new route.-SCQ- wrote:
Looks like MOL will come to Santiago de Compostela in a pilgrim outfit one of the coming days/weeks to announce it himself.

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news
A little bit off-topic, but it seems that there is also a new route to Eindhoven in the pipeline: from Valencia.
Very strange, as FR have always shouted that there will be no further routes to and from the Netherlands due to the new flight tax.

Re: Charleroi Airport (CRL) latest news
Seems correct. Both Cagliari and Alghero are already in the online check-in list from Charleroi at Ryanairs website. Alghero will probabely be another € 0,01 -route, as it is always one of the promotions at Weeze or Hahn. (Just like CRL - Limoges, to give just one example). I guess demand on this ro...

So the only way to avoid the credit card fee seems to be a payment with a Visa Electron card. Does anybody know where to get such a card in Belgium?

Re: Free flights
For € 0,02? Strange, as I have the impression that there is no possibility of avoiding the € 10 charge for using a credit card. (Although Ryanair's advertisemnet says that there are "no hidden charges or taxes")
Is there a way to avoid this booking fee?
