I flew with this aircraft about 1 month ago, and it was still in the old UA livery... Wishing you a pleasant and safe flight !

Re: brussels airlines to New York!

Why not provide the link itself? After all, there's a webpage dedicated to the first transatlantic flight by SN on their homepage. http://www.brusselsairlines.com/com/boo ... -city.aspx Shame the airline can't get the time right for its own product! The flights to New York will leave Brussels Airpo...

Re: Booking SN flights

It is correct that travel agents used to get 9% commission per ticket years ago, and that this has gradually been decreased by the airlines to 0%. But major travel companies still have contracts entiteling them to receive commissions while selling tickets from contracted airlines. These contracts ex...

Re: Brussels Airport is a disaster when it freezes and snows

this is not a marketing move... JAF is doing the flights for free for people who booked eurostar tripts with jetair Well, I presume JAF will ask a refund for all unused train tickets ( = train tickets of the passengers boarding their plane ) to Eurostar. So this amount can pay for the flight. Could...

Re: Jet Airways goes on strike

Sadly it is all about cost-cutting measures, I presume. One of the main driving factors ( not the only one, but an important one ) to look for cost-cutting measures form the company´s point of view is to be able to lower the price of your product on the market and / or remain competitive. Because at...

Re: Live flight tracking

Wow, this http://www.radarvirtuel.com site is really nice too, especially as it gives more flights over BE and more details per flight than Casper. Only disadvantage in my opinion is that, compared to Casper, the information is slightly delayed : what I did is open both sites togehter and check from...

Live air traffic above BE

Just received this link from a friend : it shows live air traffic close to AMS. As BE is closeby, some overflying traffic is shown too. Apparently, it is accurate and correct : 5 miuntes ago, it showed a B773 from JAL heading south, so I quickly ran outside : it was there, high in the skies, in all ...

Re: Air Canada daily from Montréal to Brussels

In my opinion, there is no need at all for AC to start already a ´´price war´´ on a route that will only be launched in about 10 months... I am 99% sure they will offer some promotional fares in Y a few months before launch, be it just to be in the picture and let the market know they are ...

Re: OST 12/08/2009 Saudi 747

Nice pics. What's a good location at OST to spot aircraft? Cheers. If you have a car ( or even a bike ) just do the tour of the airport, trying to stay as close to the fences as possible... Best places I found were taking very small streets ( but feasable with a normal car ;) ), bringing you to the...

Re: Where will you fly in 2009 ?

I only flew with CX of all carriers on your list. It was back in 1996 ( LHR-HKG-CDG with HKG still being Kai Tak :P ) and already then CX was known as one of the top world carriers. I do not think you will be unhappy while flying with them ! Just as QF is one of the better airlines what I heard from...

Nice report, thanks a lot, it was really fun reading and watching it ! The F compartment looks magnificent, while the Business compartment did not convince me ( though I would be very happy to be seated there too, even in Y ;) ! ). I was lucky enough to travel quite some times in the BusinessFirst 7...
