Re: Quo Vadis Jet Airways… trip reports / complaint letter!

I fly 9W twice a year to YYZ; I had never problems with pre-seating so far but I recognise the story about the crews. Some times they gave me a very non professional attitude and some are very unpolite even for the least question. I remembered from one of my last flights that I asked for a coffee af...

Re: Air India: "Jet Airways may join Star Alliance too"

i have no idea what your source is but this is far from being the reason. The other problems AI experienced 'helped' AI in the decision to block the entry, but AI refusing to allow 9W in the alliance was the main reason... Star doesn't need AI in the state they are now and if they can't get 9W afte...

Re: OFF AIRPORT - 2012

Didn't the local council/government threaten to have this 707 removed about two to three years ago :?: I believe they received their permit, but the height had to be adjusted for that (that's why the tail has been removed). That's what I heard about it ... is it true or not, I don't know :) PS: nic...

Re: Incident at RAF Scampton (Red arrows)

Am I right that Belgium lost 1 paratrooper in Somalia because he sat in a defunct Mig or Sukhoi at Mogadishu and pulled the ejection seat handle...? Big difference with this incident is that it seems that the parachute has not deployed (properly) Strange. You are right Regi about the paratrooper,I ...

Yes indeed 07th nov 2001 wa a very sad day for Sabena; I always thought that a company like Sabena would have always been rescued by the government,we were talking here about a monument! Never the less it did not happen and if we look now to the disaster of Dexia one wonders why all the effort for t...

Capt "Sully" Sullenberger the hero in NY was indeed also a very experient glider pilot. A lot of pilots are starting their flying carreer within the " Aircadets", not all of them though. A glider pilot I knew always said that the best feeling and movements in the air were in a gl...

Re: SN obliges b.light passengers to use self check-in in BR

I am suprised to read that all B-Light passengers are asked to check in on the automatic counters.
I flew with BRU air and with a B-Light ticket to VCE ( flight 3205) last wednesday and nobody asked something, was I lucky or is it a try-out?

Air Transat released its new summer '10 schedule to Brussels. And again, we will have 4 flights a week to Montréal AND the flight will go further to Toronto. The flights starts at 2 April '10. Good news and the client has now 3 carriers to chose. That is very interesting if they continue to YYZ but...
