But at this moment the negotiations are on the way with UA, and the governments of course, to open the routes from Boston and Houston to BRU. Wich is not surprising at all since there is a big project going on between Air Canada and United Airlines to provide more flights and destination from the U...
Brussels Airlines will extend the business class product to the full network from 1st february. So far, some of the leisure flights was exclusively bookable in economy class. To be more precise, it will be possible to book in business class for the entire network as from 31st january. And business ...

In meantime OS is seen better. They are receiving brand new B787 for their long haul ops. SN received a 19 years old A330 from LH. Austrian is getting 787 as there are no 767 or 777-200 within the group so as a renewal project, it was necessary and the most logical choice. By the way, within those ...
Long haul is still not on the pre Covid level. From S24 it will even be above the pre-covid level as there will be 10 A330-300 instead of 6 A330-300 and 4 A330-200 Capacity will be above pre-Covid level. That does not mean that passenger numbers will follow the same trend. Did I say the opposite ?
Let's start (or continue) guessing. Some were already announced before, so they are not part of the game (SN to Nairobi, UA second daily to Newark, AC to Toronto, SQ tot SIN ...)? Two that are already operating to BRU ... (hm, hm) - Hainan to Shanghai - United to San Francisco ( :D more wishful thi...

Tomorrow Aerosmurf leave the fleet and Bruegel go to the paint shop. Rhakham will be the only belgian icon left with the old logo.
Does it indicate that Brussels' long-haul activities are comparatively underdeveloped? There are indeed some room to grow on long haul sector. This is why the long haul fleet will grow at a rate of 1 A330 per year, thanks to the A330 leaving Lufthansa fleet. Why are they not in a hotel? Might not h...
But they also said that the MAXs would not be for Lufthansa, Swiss and City. Thus, they might go to Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings (and maybe ITA...). Given the past and current safety issues of the MAX, I'm not sure I would like these planes going to SN... :? And it won't be th...
There is only 1 NEO active at the moment, this is sent where it is the most economicaly logical. If the discount on airport taxes in LHR is bigger than the difference of cost of fuel on a TFS flight using a neo instead of a ceo, the only and sole NEO of the fleet is sent to LHR this is very simple. ...
Why has OO-SBA been deployed on short routes till now (CDG, LHR, MUC, FRA,..., mostly routes less than 1 hour..; except BCN)? Is this for crew familiarisation? As the engines on the 320neo are more economic than those on the 320ceo, I would have expected to see the neo on longer routes of 2 hours a...
