sincerely i prefer it with 6 windows instead of 4, as there is a bit more of space to wiew outside if you are jumpseating.
But they have done that because it causes less metal stress than having 6 windows ( a bit like the 737 eyebrow windows wich they have taken away ).

The other day we went thru de-icing with our Embraer 145 and we could actually hear the liquid falling on the plane, the sound was the same as when you hare in a car washer and you stay in the car
