Re: Flightcrew on long haul flights
Depending on flighttime and a/c type, either pax seats are blocked-off or the cabin crew can use the cabin-crew rest area . This could be a crew bunk above the overhead lockers (b747) or a crew rest container container in cargo hold (a330-340).

Re: BRU 04/11/2008
I noticed the Ethiopian 767 while stopping by yesterday, but couldn't get its registration. Did somebody get it? I also saw an Air Via A320 next to it. I assume it's the aircraft that operated for Jetairfly over the past few days? I don't recall Air Via flying for JAF in the last few days ? Operati...

I heard something about some a new parking control, as these guys are the only ones left in the old terminal.
Will try to get some confirmation.

Re: Confessions of an air steward too shocking for ailing Alital
The undercarriage story seems to be joke, isn't it? A mudguard ???. I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Note that AZ flies lot's of MD80 and they have the engines at the end of the fuselage. I can imagine that when landing on a wet runway without mudguards with an md80 , the engines cannot c...

Would a third handler really be THE solution ?? If they start, they will be working under the same conditions (partair comitee) and thus minimum pays will be mandatory. So, where will the difference be ?? Minimum pays, yes, maximum pays, no. By making working and salary conditions better this BAC d...

Re: Aviapartner strike
I think one of the problems of "Management" is they are just managers. It's very often a bunch of very clever people who got some degree in management. All they care about is that some figures are increasing (profit, .....) and some figures are decreasing (operating costs, labour costs, .....
