Ok, but what can we do except to find a solution ? Mine looks balanced. We just need goodwill from either part.

Re: Brussels region noise regulation 2
I'm convinced there is a real possibility to find a balance by scrupulously evaluating the economical benefits among the three regions, this beeing a base in vue to weight the spreading all around. First, establish how many people from a specific region should receive so many %. Then spread again in...

Brussels region noise regulation 2
Simply, I mean we could afford to keep all of the actual infrastructures by spreading DEP and ARR according the benefits for each other, the risks, the noise, the money. Of course, in an ideal world, we would immediately start a move to a less inhabited region. But it has a cost in the material worl...

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
Back to topic : best option would be to spread the noise according the population density, in term of percentage, weighted by the benefits each region takes from the airport. So simple. Would'nt it ?

Re: Brussels region noise regulation
All those who live in Brussels, regardless of the location, do not work from 8AM to 17PM... And those guys have the right to get a decent sound environment. Certainly if they paid for that kind of tranquility. Flanders need Brussels as well as the opposite, not to mention Wallonia. I don't believe o...

Re: Belgocontrol ATC strikes 2016
Right, we are not paid per DH flown hours, but the day is still considered to be a working day. For example, We had to go once for a short DH to a given european city, day 1, straight to the hotel in order to be able to make an early take-off on day 2. We didn't flew day 1 as active crews but we rec...

No at all. My world is a world of universal rules. Your world is a world of one way power disguised as honorable value. Your world says "me", mine says "our". Your world promote the one, mine grows to a better life for everybody. Your world is to assume its mistakes by others. An...

Re: CRL will be closed Wed. 20/04/2016 morning
Live in community implies rights and duties. ATCO's denounce problems since years, neither mngment nor government did a single move. This is a massive error from them. Don't ask people to pay for your personnal error, it's simply from other ages... Pay on time, give annual leave on time, hire enough...

Re: Lufthansa to decide on 27 April whether to take over all of Brussels Airlines
b720, I do fully agree. It's time to bring operations back to normal. No more A201 trafic jam, clear info on how to get there, to park his/her car, to drop off at the airport. Focus on making the check-in ops more efficient, and last but not least cancel this stupid agreement for a while.

Re: Belgocontrol ATC strike from 22 April 2016
One can say Belgocontrol didn't care much of known consequences of such an agreement. question of point of view. They knew they could easily go on "strike". They tough they won't because of last events. They loose.

Re: Lufthansa to decide on 27 April whether to take over all of Brussels Airlines
There is no urgency. I say again : there is no urgency concerning the financial situation of Brussels Airlines. What is against true is that the take-over may leads to a positive trend, and this seems urgent in regards to the lasts events...

Re: Belgocontrol ATC strike from 22 April 2016
There's still a simple option, not yet discussed : cancel the agreement and wait a few months before going back to negociations.
But, in that case, "others" will lose face, I guess.
