I cannot know, and I dislike speculation, but to answer the question as asked, one possible reply might be that it was switched off.So what may have caused the transponder to suddenly stop transmitting?

Re: Crash Ukraine Airlines PS-752 Teheran-Kiev UR-PSR (08/01/2020)
Are the back boxes normally not given to an aviation authority (or eventually to the black box manufacturer) for read out, and not to a private company that is directly involved with the crash? Yes, exactly my understanding. Actually I seem to remember that the local aviation authority is always th...

And didn't NOTAMs have a maximum life cycle of 90 days, too?
My reading would rather be "grounding continued, no end in sight yet".

Re: Brussels Airport monthly traffic figures
You are welcome to your opinion, yes, of course, for what it is worth. As I've stated before: opinions are plenty, and cheap - everybody has several on hand. Better have more to offer, though, than criticism from the side line - that is all too easy. Like all those "supporters" at Anderlec...

Handsfull of money to be gained! Otherwise, you had better be content to observe the airport is - to say the very least...

Mind you, there is even no mention of a 5G network.
What is mentioned is a 5G-ready network - whatever that may mean.
