Cyprus Airways signed a contract with Sabena Technics for C checks and phaseout of 4 Airbus A310 aircraft.

Luxair will launch a weekly Brussels-Bastia service at the end of April. Flight will be operated by a Boeing 737-500.

We finally have the complete set of figures abouth the February deliveries of Boeing. In total Boeing delivered 24 aircraft. One 717, one 737-600, seven 737-700, five 737-800, one 757-300, two 767-300, one 747-400, two 747-400 Freighter, two 777-200ER and finally one one 777-300.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Rod Eddington, British Airways chief executive, warns that air traffic could fall by 10 to 20% on the outbreak of war in Iraq.

It is reported that the French low-cost carrier Flyeco will delay its launch because of fears over a war in Iraq and its impact on air travel. FlyEco was reported to fly to Brussels South Charleroi.
