Add to this the horrible reputation of VEX in Belgium. Euh... I fly a lot as a passenger on different airlines both as a business and as an eco-passenger. I don't complain at all about VEX. They are correct and they are offering a good service. Cabin crew is always smiling and they are very proffes...

...and also the kidnapped businessman in Brussels last year ( http://www.hln.be/hln/cch/det/art_131720.html ) . Thanks to this very nice gentleman Constellation went bankrupt because he used the money of the airline to let his touroperator survive... Mediterra never paid the invoices to the charter ...

....and they keep telling us everything is going fantastic at SNBA  They are loosing the battle in Africa and they are (I think as the only European airline) flying less passengers than the year before... What's going on over there?? Are they finally going to wake up????? The aim is not to tran...

AFApresident wrote: A full merger of SN and VEX COULD work, however they will need to take some risks and most of all have a leader. I would like to see that happening.  After the integration of a little more than 40 Birdy pilots into SNBA the unions and the BeCA were already fighting wit...

I really think SNBA have to react now...it's nice at the moment, the money comes in from the African flights (and this sector ONLY makes the company profitable) but they don't need to rest now. At the moment they are a static company and the only thing that they are doing is increasing destinations ...

I don't think AF and KL will go into Africa much deeper than they already do at present (at least not in the near future). I don't agree with this. At the moment AF and KL are still growing in Africa and are using Kenian Airways as a feeder. Kenian is presently opening a lot of new destinations in ...

SN is a healthy company, that's a true but it's a static company. All present airlines are trying to increase their traffic and are growing. SN is staying at the present position and are not investing in new destinations (flown by SN aircraft). The 4th A330 will come... but when? They will pay the d...

Atlantis: I think the problem is that they want to sell the company.... and they can't sell it when the financial figures are in red. When they lease another A330 to open another African market, they will need to invest some money and they can't affort this. Otherwise they will not have 'positive' f...

I find it a lost opportunity (again) for SNBA. They are increasing by codesharing and that's not the good way to do so. They stay a small company without any progress...and that makes the people working for SNBA unhappy. At this moment SNBA is also loosing the African market to KLM/Air France with K...
