Personally I understand the reason of boycotting Brussels Airlines. With the introduction of their "internet" fares most people will not contact any travel agency anymore and book directly to the airline. About some weeks ago I had someone asking to book flights for him as he had heard tha...

Can happen indeed...but I can assure you that most of the bags will stay at the airport untill the bagage services know for "sure" that the pax were on the plane...

Imho, nothing is 100% "safe"...not even aviation but I think most of us already knew that for long...

Never heard people complaining so much about Thomas Cook... JAF-195, a computer failure is not strange and quite "common"...if it was the correct reason of the delay that we will never know for 100% off course. There are ups and downs with charter airlines, as there are ups and downs with ...

So the Japanese has to go around and the Cathay can go straight over it? Viva the noise restrictions :? Quite right...almost all the CIV departures make a right turn a little north of the heading to AFI (Affligem) before going to CIV (Chievres). Other departures like some of the LNO (Olno), SPI (Sp...

(and the state of being of OO-TUC in mind) Nothing to do with it...OO-TUC or PH-MCM...every (good) crew and operations would have made the same decision... And that's how simple it is Aviation is never too simple... Flying back to BRU to get it fixed there by SN technics? Nice thought, but if you'r...

I hope you are kidding!!! Aborting a take off without a single indication of a malfunction... And taking the risk that your engine parameters will drop to non-normal when you are over the Atlantic Ocean...I am never kidding... They should have aborted take-off or returned back to Brussels.....

About the place where the incident occured the rabbit was indeed sucked into the engine at BRU but as all parameters were normal (such as engine vibrations), the flight was continued as planned. You are kidding, right? Perhaps the crew didn't notice that there was a rabbit strike during take...

Brussels Airlines , Ryanair crews are all trained up to CAT III , as are the planes , always have been for as long as I can remember - that goes back 9 years . How would you explain landing in LGG otherwise ? CATIII is the kind of approach if I can remember well, not stating an autoland. There are ...
