Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

for sure, the long haul business is related to bigger investments and risks ! as for the European short to medium flights, the biggest challenge (IMHO) is to find the "niche" market (I think particularily to the once-expanding flights of Belle-Air that suddenly and unexpected in the eyes o...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

one thing is sure in my opinion: if everything is to be written on a white sheet of paper, if we should forget the first rumours, I would by far prefer to see the new company initiate intercontinental flights (and feed them for example with Europe flights from, let's say the Balkan, where they have ...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

it's a little bit far away to find the video of broadcast company, but at that time, I'm sure they spoke about "feeding", like at the beginning of this tread.
that was the point I proposed to continue to investigate : as simply as that !!

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

.......but that's not the subject: the subject is about the very first (and only) official declaration of BOT (relayed by the press)that they would act (principaly) as a feeder: that remains the real reason to questions like this: - feeder for whom? - inbound or outbound? - if inbound, it can be for...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

Why not a long-haul low cost airline based in Liege (you can fly to the US with an A318, I think I read that somewhere in this forum ;) ) ? A318 is not an option with headwind* (or it needs a fuel stop: Shannon, Keflavik or Gander), but A319 has the range for LGG-JFK (i.e.) (but at which cost per s...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

Why not be a feeder for TNT and also carry pax ? ??? TNT is giving back to lessors the only a/c able to carry passengers (B737QC), only a Ba146 left, and the A318 is not reputated for its cargo abilities... ok, but that means only that TNT seems not to be interrested to carry pax on its own airplan...

Re: BeOnTop Airlines - Liège Airport

Why not be a feeder for TNT and also carry pax ? It's then 2 source of revenue and would lover the price of the seats to attract passenger for the 1st year of service. Does this kind of stuff already exist somewhere ? quite interresting !! one thing has to be said: in matters of "communication...

Re: Beontop Airlines - Liège Airport

let's think the other way around ........... (the - smiley - comment of DesertRat: " Emirates? " inspired me the following thinking: - are all of you sure that it is to feed other companies in foreign hubs ?? - let's imagine some arabian company (Emirates, Qatar, Etihad,...)in discussion ...
