Re: Where will you fly in 2016 ?

Unexpected a trip GVA-BRU, SN, don't remember the ac, but it had a lot of passengers, which made me wonder why the ANR-GVA-line failed for VLM :| Planned: ANR-LCY & LCY-ANR, CityJet BCY, F50 ANR-TXL & TXL-ANR, JetairFly, JAF (while this rout still exists :/), first time on Embraer: E190 BRU-...

VLM will stop flying ANR-GVA at the end of this week, but "another" company will take over the route in mid-march. But the article doesn't say which one...

Re: VLM Airlines news 2014-2015

Wasn't VLM going to buy those SSJ's? In that case it would make sense for the remainder of the lifetime of the Fokkers to get the money for selling them, and using only a bit of it for the lease untill the SSJ's are here? Maybe they needed more cashflow?

Re: VLM Airlines news 2014-2015

All in gamble can burn all the money there is left in the bank in a few weeks, even before they are able to reduce the schedule. And then there is no more VLM. My opinion is that they are not in the position for a big gamble. Like I said: maybe the airport itself has offered some kind of compensati...

Re: VLM Airlines news 2014-2015

Entering the Friedrichshafen market sounds like an ok idea. No competition from other airlines and a proven market (not a big market). Just putting in 3 airplanes is too big to start an operation. If I was VLM management I would start with just one F50 and fly 2 daily to Hamburg and daily to Berlin...

Re: VLM Airlines taken over by management, buys SSJ100 aircraft

Does VLM really have 15 Fokker 50's? Or even if they meant 12 aircraft of which 3 ar...

Hello

OOGEE is a PC12....

Greetings,
Indeed, my mistake.
But why are there more flights than your list? Your input is very much appreciated, but how can we get a more complete list? Where do you get your information?

There was more activity than only those:
BE9L N925WW (Dep)
B350 OO-GEE
B350 OO-OCA (Dep&Arr)
and OO-VLQ, although there is no scheduled VLM/CityJet flight on saturdays.

Re: British airways to LHR on an A320

With the Eurostar linking Brussels & London under a 2 hrs journey time, who is still "flying" between BRU & LON? I would guess people connecting onwards? I fly ANR - LON (LCY, not LHR) as it's still faster... BRU indeed has more time "overhead" compared to the short airt...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015

Strange to see a higher occupancy rate for the return of HAM: I heard some business users say they like the early flight ANR-HAM (there's no such early option from BRU), but they found the return only at 20:10 (arriving at 21:40) too late.

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015

an embraer is not "big" yes, it's difficult to understand people are surprised to see an airplane near an airport. The terrorist alert of 3 is irrelevant to that The Embraers are about the biggest planes flying in and out af ANR. PS LF on HAM +/-50% (return +/-60%), GVA +/-10%, LCY +/-80%...
