Re: Pilot strike announced for 22-25 February at Lufthansa

All the flights from BRU to MUC, STR, NRN, HAJ are operated by LH Cityline all year round?! STR, NRN, HAJ is always operated by LH cityline/Eurowings/Regional. Only MUC has some of their daily flights operated by LH mainline, but not all. And even these flights are operated all by LH Cityline in so...

Re: Pilot strike announced for 22-25 February at Lufthansa

Will brussels airlines operate own aircrafts on behalf of LH to FRA/MUC and eventually Stuttgart during the pilots strike? No. Here is the current situation. LH will operate all its flights from BRU to MUC, STR, NUE, HAJ: they are indeed operated by Cityline or other regional airlines. LH has also ...

Re: Brussels Airlines joining Star Alliance in December 2009

So all codeshares agreements between brussels airlines and others LH Group members are secured now?
Next step : increase those kind of agreements with all Star Alliance partners... would be logical to deal with SAS for example...

Re: SN flights to Paris CDG

Indeed they must have good reasons but I highly doubt the planes are 100% full of connecting pax to the long-haul SN network... I made it once to DKR through BRU (loved all flights... really) and the planes on the BRU-CDG leg were about @ 50% LF operated... Even if I consider myself as a real brusse...

Re: new A319 for SN

I think SN will be careful to add A320/21s to the fleet. As far as I am aware will each new type (even if they are quite similar with the A319) require pilots to be certified for them (correct?) and thereful will mean less operational flexibility. To have such a small short-haul fleet with so many ...

Re: Brussels Airlines joining Star Alliance in December 2009

Even if I am dreaming for SN transatlantic flights ASAP, I wish them to grow slowly but surely... one never knows in such a fast moving world... Anyway, I would like to wish brussels airlines & devoted staff all the best for 2010! "Love" to Belgium - my favorite foreign country - and t...

Re: Brussels Airlines joining Star Alliance in December 2009

brussels airlines to the US! Maybe THE good surprise of year 2010... On the other hand, I guess that BRU - CDG will get a double daily flight as from april... but still impossible to use SN european network from Paris... why do they reserve ALL seats for connecting long haul pax only? I would love ...

Re: Brussels Airlines joining Star Alliance in December 2009

If JFK will come (and it looks like JFK is sure), I think Delta will loose the that route. AA and Jet working together and SN working together with possibly all the American Star Alliance airlines (CO, UA, US). About ORD and BOS, I suppose they will pick BOS because ORD will have already two daily ...

Re: Interview met Michael O'Leary in De Standaard

Thank you very much...

Do you believe that Ryanair can become the 1st aviation player in Belgium, even before brussels airlines?

Do they still have a growth potential?

Are they doing well on "business routes"?
