Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Hi all, To be honest, I also like it. I also think that it has not been a big cost, especially taking into account 1) they have to repaint all planes every x years anyway and 2) they will use less paint now, so cheaper ... Regarding the fact that it looks like another logo: well any new logo will re...

Re: BRU Summer 2022: news, new routes, airlines
This is a pity (not to fly BRU-Toronto) since I used the route several times to transfer to Saint Lucia. Toronto is still the major hub, not Montreal (where you will have at least two operators next year, maybe also SN).

Re: M&M Senator Lifetime?
BTW, did you also receive a mail from them on 2021-03-05 about a data breach? The data in question relates exclusively to service card numbers, status level and in some cases names. Unfortunately, your customer data is also affected. You can rest assured, however, that no passwords, email addresses...

M&M Senator Lifetime?
Dear all, Some time ago I received as M&M Senator a message that my status would be extended with one year (2022), even though I will not reach the necessary 100.000 miles this year (I have only 10 flight segments this year). This was good news. Yesterday I went online, checking my M&M accou...

Re: BRU Winter 2021-2022: news, new routes, airlines
Hi all,
[Sorry if this was already posted somewhere else]
It seems Emirates is going to fly more to BRU during wintertime: 10 instead of 7 flights per week. B773ER
Extra flights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Re: Flying again ... what about you?
In fact I did not fly for leisure either over the past 18 months. But the trip to Split is together with my wife, so she also made the switch now to not wait longer and to travel. We also plan to have in April next year a trip with the full family (8 of which 2 small kids) :D I totally agree that it...

Flying again ... what about you?
Hi all, This week I had my first (business) trip since 02/2020 :) :( ... Was to Nice, to go to Genoa (I like to drive by car between Nice/Genoa). Flights to and from Nice were quite full (I estimate >80%), even two/four business passengers. But mostly tourists. Coming back, also several transfer pas...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020
As Conti64 mentioned, storage is long-term parking. Parking is typically for a grounding of two months or less. Over two months, storage is cheaper, however it takes longer to return a stored aircraft to service. [...] Thanks for your clear explanations. Appreciated! Indeed, very comprehensive and ...

Hi all, This article is interesting. https://www.vrt.be/vrtnws/nl/2020/04/26/brussels-airlines-valt-binnenkort-zonder-geld-wat-nu/ Of course, CS is stressing the assets of SN to get the 290 million, but still ... I also think that they invested in SN, even if they took over for a small price (e.g. l...

Your organisations travel policy
Hi all, Recently my organisation changed policies regarding air travel which, in general, I support. As a general rule my employer wants to reduce the use of air travel (of course if you have meetings in China, you can't go on foot, or even are not able to take the train :D ). For short distances yo...

Impact of your organisation on BRU
Hi all, I am just wondering which organisations have a big impact on the figures of BRU airport. We all know that e.g. the EC and related bodies are major users of the airport: own staff travelling around; people visiting the EU bodies in Brussels; people attending events of the EU; family of expats...
