Re: Brussels - Bilbao R/T Brussels Airlines A319
Thanks for the trip report, seems to be growing trend with Brussels Airlines these days. I've been on the wrong end of some seats changes as well, mostly to be an issue with the 4 class seating when they have to move blight pax sitting in flex seats etc, can be very annoying. I also agree with punct...

Re: Brussels Airport and its environment.
As we say in the UK... 'If in doubt make a report'! I'm sure many people had many meetings to come up with this report, but I think most of us could come up with these findings. To sum it up the more houses there are closer to an airport the higher the amount of people hearing aircraft is, that real...

Re: Iberia & British Airways leave AEA in clash over Gulf carriers
Hi Flanker,
Is AEA run by the EU? I see the CEO is ex KLM and the other staff don't seem to be MP's. Could you please clarify.
Many thanks,
Speedy

Also if you have a business class ticket with LOT tonight...KriVa wrote:The outbound Iberia flight this morning was cancelled (due to tech?), that's probably why the A346 is on the way.
Nice surprise for the people waiting at the gate, I'd think.

Re: To Miami on the Lufthansa Airbus A380
Thanks for the report Andre. Your picture of the IFE box interested me. I find these IFE boxes very annoying. I recently flew AMS-IAD-AMS on a KLM A330-200 and the box takes almost half of the feet space. I had to sit slightly sideways for the trip, very uncomfortable!

A lot of holding due to the wx and single rwy for arrivals. OO-SNG looks like it's diverting to CRL after a long hold over Antwerp.

Re: VLM Airlines bought by management, buys SSJ100 aircraft
This is good news for VLM if it all comes off. But at risk of starting something... it does surprise me that they didn't go for the nextgen Q400, that would be a logical progression. We see now wth Flybe trying to offload their Embraers as operating them profitably seems tough in the small fleet sho...

No I don't, but the aircraft is holding for a long time. I know that the 757 doesn't have a fuel dump capability, but with the flying time already undertaken I would think it should have come under its max landing weight by now. I see it continues to hold @ 1550 local time

Re: Brussels Airlines announces new short haul product
I would say that obviously row 1 has more room for your legs as well as 16 & 17. But otherwise with a 189 seat fit on their 800's I think the seat pitch for the other seats is 30 ins. On seat guru I see the first 5 rows are marked a premuim but I think that has more to do with location rather th...

By any chance does anyone have any technical information about which SIDS are being closed / re-opened. Also a time scale for these actions to be completed? I see the next AIRAC cycle (1409) is 21st August.
