Re: VLM Airlines news 2016
Perhaps we should dare now ask the question: is there really a demand of business people to fly out of ANR? How many times and years did we all hear that same old story that there is a potential because of the big Antwerp port and diamond industry? I admit, i also believed that story. But if there w...

Indeed nothing new, old news! Just ignore them. By ignoring them you reduce them from "something" to "nothing".
I think that ebaw did a great job the last weeks and it is showing what it is capable of. Keep up the good job (y).

Re: Lufthansa to decide on 27 April whether to take over all of Brussels Airlines
I am wondering what is going to happen concerning recruitment for pilots: all pilots now coming from Lufthansa school and the ability/requirement to speak fluently german?????
I hold my breath.

Are the ticket prices lower then the ones of VLM use to be?
Perhaps that's a reason for the success??

Well, having no toilet can be a pain. I speak from experience. In my current aicraft we fly up to 4 hours without having a toilet on board. Very fun if you have some problems in your bowels. I never took so much imodium in my life. It is a MUST especially if you fly commercially with pax. And for th...

Re: Interview of CEO Gustin: Brussels Airlines renamed Eurowings? ...and other topics
I was always very sceptical with the share deal of "lufthi" in SN. I work a lot in Germany and already knew how these German management would think. "We are german and you are just the stupid little belgian". They dont adapt to others but you have to adapt to them. Look to the ge...

Re: Owner of airport
Well i am talking about an airline constructing, owning and running its own airport. Yes i know it sounds very unrealistic. But then again, entrepreneurship is free in Europe. And so is a company free to build its own premises, even if these own premises is an own airport. Just like a truck company ...

Owner of airport
Well i open this topic because i have a specific question: why isn't a single airlinecompany in Europe owning/ or constructing their own airport? Yes the maintenance cost will be high but pax dont have to pay paxfees, or at least lower fees, the company can create their big hub and perhaps other adv...

Re: VLM Airlines news 2016
So if i understand well, they sold some aircraft and then leasing them back????
But why are they leasing them back? Especially now since they can not fill them completely. It is all costing money like hell!
Why not leasing, let's say 1 airbus 318 or 1 Bombardier Cs, instead of leasing 2 or 3 F50???

Re: VLM Airlines news 2016
I agree. The perception is still that it is an airline for business people. Perhaps they should start to change their name to reposition themselves, as a start to change their policy.
Let's hope that the new management comes ups with a good strategy. It would be pitty to lose that company.

Re: VLM Airlines news 2016
I agree. Everything they do seem to fail. Perhaps they have to change from business flight to touristic flights like jetairfly, ofcourse with other aicraft.
To be honest: i think end of 2017 the company will not there anymore. Pitty.
