Re: EgyptAir stewardesses begin wearing hijab
Of course they shoud have the right to wear a hijab. But passengers have the right to regret that, after so many years when it was forbidden, they feel the desire, the need, or maybe the social obligation to wear it. What passenger would "regret" that flight attendants have the right to a...

Re: EgyptAir stewardesses begin wearing hijab
When I went to Egypt with Egyptair three years ago, stewardesses were not allowed to wear the Islamic veil called hijab. Now, some EgyptAir stewardesses who campaigned to wear the Muslim headscarf have begun donning the hijab for the first time since the national carrier was founded in 1932. The fi...

Yes, a long time ago, almost forty-five years, and very covert. Aircraft were not the main mission, but I photographed some interesting aircraft types. https://legendarymilavia.blogspot.com/2020/03/rare-plaaf-aircraft-types-ilyushin-il.html Regards, Mike Fisher. And with 2 daily A320 from CDG to BRU sometimes even 3, how many Parisian travelling through BRU to connect to Africa... you can see it the other way around the only factor is prices and a flight "BRU"-CDG-FIH will often be cheaper than a direct BRU-FIH and the other way around. Even if I...

And last but not least look at the destinations SN is flying : to what extend technical problems are not caused by the reality that in sub Saharan Africa you might not have the local skills, spare parts available and generally the infrastructure for state of the art aircraft? In those markets often...

It may not be the youngest machine, but for the cabin that probably hardly matters. Going by airfleets.net it was reactivated for Lufthansa (in the new colour scheme) in April 2022 after being stored in June 2021. I would be surprised if it didn’t receive at least a refreshed cabin in that time fra...

Congo Airways temporarily suspends flights from 11sept2023. The airline hasn't aircraft to fly. Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
But SN was already flying to India under the embrella of LH. I don't think so. A few years back, Jet Airways had daily flights (with excellent Business Class, btw) between BRU and Delhi and Mumbai with continuation from BRU to US and/or Toronto. But they were discontinued several years ago. SN flew...

Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin dies with nine other people in the crash (or downing) of his private jet
Strangely, the crash ot Prigojin's flight hasn't been mentioned here. It looks like it would be worth looking at the path that plane followed, under instructions from the Control Tower. It seems to have brought it coincidently right above the bettery of missiles that alledgely shot the plane.
