Re: Opening of low cost terminal postponed to 2011

Ok Atlantis you are correct about that topic, but that is an old topic. Some things are changed already and it is only about long haul, I am also talking about short haul of *A carriers and SN. And because my list of short haul destinations in another topic wasn't really succesfull, I was thinking t...

Re: Opening of low cost terminal postponed to 2011

Maybe someone who nows a lot of SN and BRU can make a list with the most likly destinations that can be started in the next few years, for SN or *A carriers. From a really good route that can be started very fast, like Montreal was before AC relaesed they will fly this route to routes that can have ...

Re: Opening of low cost terminal postponed to 2011

SN and BRU are really working to offer better service to their pax, but that takes time, A LOT OF TIME. That is something you need to understand Jovan. You can not expact that all *A airliners will come to BRU this or next year, they need to look if such a route is possible and they need to negotiat...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

On the website of Brussels Airlines it isn't possible anymore to book flights to Kiev from 25 october. So it seems the codeshare with Ukraine International will stop from 25 october. A bit strange, because Ukraine international isn't a member of any airline alliance. And there is no replacement that...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

If everyone thinks like that, than I say nothing anymore and you will see that I am not the only one that ask things a few times and say sometimes something stupid. If this is the way to do against people that now a bit less then others than you can bether close this forum as public and make it only...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

Bucharest was a mistake, I mean Budapest I'm sorry. But what you are telling about my wild ideas are not true. Who was telling that JFK or Boston is not a good idea for SN itself for the first years because they need 1 plane for 1 route in that case. I start that disscussion about that 1 plan...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

You need to read better before do like that, I never said this would be perfect destinations. I said that i picked some destinations in Europe that aren't served by SN. And I ASKED you if this are destinations with a future, likly not, but do you need to do like I am a stupid person that is doing an...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

What I heard about the route is that this route make a lot of money together with Montreal. This routes make a lot of the other Atlantic los making routes good, thats what I hear about it. @LJ: With Dublin I mean, this would be a new market for SN that they fly themself even if they codeshare with A...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

I don't think SN will start a Atlantic flight with own metal this or next year. But Boston will work really good from BRU. It was one of the most succesfull Sabena destinations in the past. And there is still a lot of ask for this route. And that's wy I proposed that LH can maybe fly from Germany vi...

Re: Infrastructure of Brussels Airport

But isn't it possible to start some preparations before 2012. And if the Diabolo project is finished in 2011 they can start immediatly after that if they did al the preparations already. I would like to see the expanding of the A concourse but only if they make it ussable for non-schengen flights to...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

The new long haul routes for next summer need to be announced around this time to promote their routes. Icelandair did it for their BRU route (not really long haul but I need to say something :P )and Air canada did this to, so I think we will hear something in the time from now until October/novembe...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

I don't mean that they would fly this route from CRL. But I forget the BD codeshare indeed. But what about the others? And I said it already don't beat me if I say something stupid, I'm not perfect ok. sorry , my comment was not meant as an attack on you so please dont interpret it that way ...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

Could it be possible that LH start flights like FRA-BRU-JFK-BRU-FRA to back up the lost JFK flight, or start FRA-BRU-BOS-BRU-FRA to fly to Boston via BRU without taking a risk for SN with their own LH metal? With this way you can provide both FRA or Munich (one-stop in BRU)as Brussels with flights t...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

If they gonne fly to the US in the near future (I am sorry I can't speak about a long term vision enymore :P ) and I don't think this will happen, than they need to expand their EU network to. I was just thinking about some new maybe possible routes in Europe. I like to hear your opinion but don't b...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

AFI is always be the strong part of the Belgian aviation. SN need to make money on that, not on US routes (for sure the first years). This is to risky for SN, with AFI they can take more risks. Leave this US routes to their strong *A partners, SN can earn money on this routes to without taking a ris...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

@conti764 Houston can easely be served by CO if the economy is at a high level (exactly like Detroit, but we can forget that because Northwest) I am not saying a daily 772 or a 764, but a daily 752 or 762 is perfectly possible for Houston. Not because of the connections and so, but for the city and ...

Re: The future of Brussels Airlines with Lufthansa

If you read my last post you must now that I even don't think evening flights to AFI are te sollution. I didn't launch that idea here ok, that was somebody else and I only said that this could be a solution for the busy B pier in the morning. But I am always stay telling that expanding the A pier is...
