www.vakantiepiraten.nl (NL)

I so agree with you... I really miss the one cent fares I used a lot back then... FR is still much cheaper than Vueling ex-BRU but comparing to what I was paying some years ago...

Re: JetairFly in 2015
Contrary to what they say at Jetairfly, there is no such thing as a 29,99 fare - the cheapest flight is priced at 44,99 euros, the unavoidable "administrative fee" included. Ryanair and easyJet have dropped those added fees, but other still use it : at Vueling, it's 5 euros "manageme...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2014
Did you just see the Air Canada 833 that departed around 11:45 that still had his gears down above Schaerbeek? It's the first time I see a plane with the gears still down so long after its take-off. I assume there was a problem... anyone knows?

Re: Ryanair in 2014
I've seen the customer surveys (a very big % our BRU pax have never seen the CRL terminal up close for example, and would never consider it as an alternative) I've talked to the passengers onboard I've seen the current load factors in BRU (90-100%) I've seen the luggage tags and the nationalities o...

wow iceland at BRU today
Hello, I was surprised to see a WOW A320 at Brussels today when I landed at 1pm. I checked their website and there are no flights to Brussels although Brussels appears in the scroll-down menu (only if you enter Rejkjavik as depature point). Does anyone know more about this? BTW, visit Iceland, it is...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjfmjznXksU A calm, friendly MOL talking to its customers instead of yelling new ideas to the media, well it's a nice change for sure! I can only welcome their change in customer service. LOL @ your comment. I wonder if this change (as well as the 2d bag allowed, whi...

I don't understand why Vueling wants to compete so much with Ryanair at Brussels. They cannot win with their much higher prices... what do you think?

Fr will soon fly to ATH from CRL. Out of curiosity do you know anything concerning this route? Last I hard was a "disagreement" over the taxes and fees Ryanair has to pay at ATH. But at the end I do think FR will fly to ATH (as well as CPH) how soon though I don't know. sources? I'm inter...

Re: 2013 Charleroi airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
It is not attracting an airline back as this airline (JAF) already operates and has his headquarters in BRU.We are talking here about a logical(jetairfly refusing competiton with pegasus) move of 2 or 3 flights a week only during the summer season. Jetairfly is not "refusing competition",...

Re: new wind components EBBR
That's typical communautarist politics of Belgium, the tailwind tolerance is bigger when preferential system is on, so they can use that runway more often during those hours, even in the wind would suggest using a more suitable rwy.

Hi, Don't they know FR rules ? If FR would differ to other german, dutch, french bases, what would be the impact ? Altough I don't agree with FR view on some things this can't without impact. A 3,- eur tax a flight, means 6 euros return whats already a very big part of the FR ticket... Don't know if t...

Re: 2013 Charleroi airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
MOL will act like for MRS,leave some planes and then comme back, eventhough MRS did never regain his former base(but there is a labour trial pending between the French social security and FR).But CRL is not MRS,CRL is THE biggest money maker of FR on the continent and his third base after London and...

yes indeed this 3€ tax is just silly, risky when one knows MOL is always leaving airports with extra taxes
