Re: RYR to be kicked out of BRU ?
I do not see what is unfair about it, I rather see what is inconvenient. Nobody wants to pay high prices if they have the option, but don't be fooled: someone at RYR ultimately pays the bill of the flight. It's unfair to go to court. They have a good business model that's all and it works. Question...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
I choose to learn in this thread the following: the Brussels airlines future and financial perspective... OK: 2013 financial statement (latest available) states the following: > balance total of 457m€ > merely 14.2m€ of that is company equity > last communicated P&L since then (B. Gustin): -21,...

Re: BRU Traffic figures 2014
And while these 16% are not just FR passengers, it is clear that the arrival of FR has a very positive effect on BRU and it's companies so far, contrary to what they expected. The FR operation from a company point of view is a big succes with all flights filled to the brim now. Expansion is to be e...

Re: Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is missing
YOu seem to have difficulties in coming to terms with the fact that this crash simply defied the limits of what was technologically feasable prior to february 2014? Or better stated: the limits of how we used that technology because in the meanwhile inmarsat offers a service allowing us to track inm...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
Postal services are mostly loss-making anywhere you look. Hi Flanker, I worked for bpost as a business consultant for a few years and am happy to say that recently I joined them. The average airline can learn a thing or two from bpost when it comes to running a profitable business in a competitive ...

Look at how many fools invested in the Bpost IPO. I understand that postal operators are not your wildest dreams, but in the mean time I kindly invite you to check the year on year financials of bpost for the last 10 years and then contemplate on your statement of calling those people 'fools'. Whil...

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
SN has no choice that to grow if not it will desappear and with an airline that has all to win to do so it can work. Excuse me? why do they have "no choice than to grow"? I would say they have no choice but to rationalise their business, turn profits and start funding that growth you appa...

Yes, but in this case those cleaning activities are one of their core businesses instead of merely supportive activities.LJ wrote:However, the outsourcing of cleaning activiites is just something which is commonplace around the world. Not to mention that the unions acknowledge that some may even benefit.
