I don't say that there never has been problems with SOBELAIR, but at least then you had a Belgian charter,
-upon which you could rely,
-with Belgian crew which spook at least three languages,
-with good maintained and safe aircraft and
-with a good service.

300,00$ or 230,00 € one way isn't quit low fare. With taxes and return ticket your price will be easily 500,00 €. If you look a little bit around, and make your reservation a bit in advance you pay less with regular airlines. At the end of this month I fly to Washington DC - Direct flight with Unite...

As a member of the Commemorative Air Force - B-24/ B-29 Squadron, I'm part of the crew of the world's only flying B-29 Superfortress "FiFi" and the B-24 Liberator "Diamond Lil" from which only two are still flying :D :D :D Beside those two, I also flew in about 100 different jets...

Is there anybody on Luchtzak who has experience with holidays and spotting at St-Maarten ?

Planned to go there next year, so any information about spotting, hotels, personal experiences, etc... is very welcome.

Vonsmalhausen, Of course it wasn't just my paperwork but -especially in the beginning- having a Chief of Airstaff or a Attaché to support or sign the request was surely more important. Once introduced into the "airshow display world" it was sometimes easier to make some arrangements. Regards
