For the A333 it is no option. Just simply not installed.
Do you mean no option for the A333 of Brussels Airlines, or for every A333 ?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

The statement "no fleet expansion after 2017" was corrected later. It is still expected that one long haul aircraft will be added each year. What a disappointing result... Not one word about replacing the ageing fleet by new A330neo's or second hand LH A330/340's... Once again, a too caut...

Re: on crew layover

When there is an evening flight, arriving outside Brussel (e.g. Madrid) at around 10 pm, and an early morning flight leaving Madrid for Brussels at e.g. around 7 am, I suppose those flights are not operated by the same crew? Because the time to get from the airport to the hotel in the evening, and t...

What's your source for this statement?
A340-300's or A34-600's?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

The first flight to Geneve is on 26th march, Berlin on 27th, so it should be around that date. Routesonline adds: Birmingham Bologna Edinburgh Gothenburg Hamburg Krakow Milan Linate & Malpensa Nice Prague Warsaw Venice Gradually integrating. I thought 3 SSJ's were scheduled, but when I see the ...

Sorry, I don't want to be too picky, but the "430" are (ex-) Lufthansa Boeings.
British Airways code is/was "436".

Is there any reason why the space between the cockpit windows is always painted black, and not in the coulours of the rest of the fuselage?

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

OO-SFN is actually enroute to N/A with callsign BEL 9903. Its a ferry. OO-SFN is flying the opposite route as OO-SFY yesterday. So, I presume a ferry to Abu Dhabi for its C-check? So this means the end of the active careers of the oldest A-330's is not yet in sight (keeping them in service till 201...

OOSFY is indeed in AUH for its C-check
OO-SFY seems to be back in Brussels as from today...
When will OO-SFX be ready?

Re: Brussels Airlines future and financial perspective

So please sn-remember, don't blame Brussels Airlines for: 1) not being more promiment on their traditional markets, 2) for being too timid, 3) for not exploiting at full potential, 4) for nog being aggressive enough. Competition simply is part of the business. But still I can't understand why it se...

Re: Lufthansa buys the remaining 55% of Brussels Airlines

But what could the shareholders have done? What do you mean by being more carefull? Without LH SN might very well be bankrupt by now, that doesn't leave much options other than to do as LH desires. I am not a specialist nor an airline business analist. But when I see how the IAG group has evolved, ...

I wouldn't count on the A350.
Gustin indicates he wants to operate one type of aircraft, and although the A350 might have operational similarities to the A330, it makes more sense to operate the A330 neo.
Let's keep fingers crossed!

Re: Brussels Airlines introduces Economy Plus on longhaul flights

By the end of July, all A330's should be configured with this new product and at the same time, the economy seat headrest will also get a slight redesign for increased comfort. Where will the aircraft be converted? On a one for one basis? How does this change affect the total amount of passengers t...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016

TB2258 (Malaga-Ostend) on June 14 had a 12 hour delay, and was operated by OO-JAV instead of the usual G-RAJG that's stationed at Ostend.
G-RAJG doesn't seem to fly today either, at least no flights are mentioned on FR24.
What went wrong?

SN 3735 on 25/05 : registration wanted

Hello,
I'm booked on SN 3735 (Brussels -Malaga) next Wednesday (25/05).
The booking engine shows an A320.
Can anyone tell me the registration already?
Any chances it's G-POWK,
Thanks in advance.

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

I saw on FR24 that SN is using today a Titan Airways A320 (msn4701 G-POWK). Is there a delay in delivery of one of its "own"? Does anybody know till when G-POWK will fly for Brussels Airlines? I'm booked on SN 3735 on May 25; any chance it will still be there and operating this flight? Th...
