Themole,
Why aren't you sharing with us that Etihad is seeking to start operations to Brussels?
Is this top secret info too (like all the projects you are involved in)?
Or am I just seeing ghosts again, like you mentioned in your email?

But, they will have a lot of work before this I guess. I flew Hainan Airlines already two times (guess i'm the only one on this forum who can say that ;) ) and they don't speak any english at all on the flights. Announcements in english are taped but completely ununderstandable... This will have to...

Re: There's no reason to come to BRU for Asian airlines, unl
Honestly I don't expect them at all> How soon is that? Don't be so pessimistic and conservative in your opinions about the possibility of Brussels being linked with Asia again. BIAC is working on it, several airlines too. Just look out for the next diplomatic and commercial mission to China.

Etihad, "ondernemingsraad" (or "conseil d'entreprise" in French) is not the Board, but the staff council. By law in Belgium, management is obliged to give the staff some economic information on the company on a regular basis. But I am also interested in the answer to your questi...

Re: There's no reason to come to BRU for Asian airlines, unl
Wrong, we have it from the ondernemingsraad. Which board meeting, TG or SN? If you got it from the latest SN Brussels board meeting, then I can not guarantee you that I won’t start laughing out loud. That is Chinese, not all airlines that carry 'China' in their logo are 'chinese'. CI is Taiw...

TG 920/921? There is more in the air... Tell them, Dave. CI, 'one or the' asian partner of SNBA? If they choose CI they close the door in China... 300 blockspace seats weekly? No operator can produce this on Thailand in Belgium 300x52 = 15600! Anyone who can guarantee that, I can provide the tracto...

In short : it is not Senegal Airways, but Air Sénégal International, a subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc, which would ensure connections to other cities in the region, including in Gambia. The plane is a 757, not a 737. Weekly flights would start in October, if the runway in Charleroi is long enough fo...

OrientThai? The OX-fleet is, let me say it softly, a little bit decayed. I do not see a western clientele queueing to go on board of these aircraft. OX is 'shipping' a chinese clientele, at very low price, but can OX convince westerners to fly with them, when competition offers modern aircraft for ...

And there are other ways to fly cheaper to Thailand. Combine cheap longhaul to KUL, HKG even China with even cheaper low cost asian airlines into Thailand. Soon India will be your transit area to connect to SE Asia. Fons, it seems to me you are a real Thailand lover. Maybe you even live in Thailand...

the company's name is: Senegal Airways www.senegalairways.com tickets from 470 euro Great news? Lets wait and see if they really take-off. Their website is a mess - nothing but 'error 404 not found' messages -, and it all looks a bit unprofessional. Lets hope that this doesn’t influence the plans o...

Hi everybody. Another idea could be a code-share with SNBA? I can confirm the serious interest of Ethiopian in Brussels. SN Brussels could certainly use an African partner, and Ethiopian might well be the one. Nevertheless, Ethiopian is very interested in some SN routes like Kinshasa, Kigali, Enteb...

But it will be a code-share flight flown by MNG. Like Yvo (AN124) said, there's a MNG plane arriving at the same time from the same destination. The number in the flight code is also equal with the MNG-flight (both *2299). So it will be a regular MNG B734. By the way, Missionair seems to be a ghost...

I already flew with them once to Valencia and it was really a great experience. Friendly crew, brand new airplanes, ... . Really a good service. I will defenitely fly with them again. I have also flown with Vueling to Valencia and I can subscribe to what you wrote above. Vueling is highly recommend...

And of course, there are NO A330's available any more, anywhere in the world. Neither -300 or -200. Production has been sold out for years to come. Why does SN only limit themselves to A330-301s? There are plenty of a/c available to be ACMI-, wet-, damp- or dry-leased. And I am certainly not referr...
