Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2022

The reason is a lack of capacity at Schiphol. Luckily the AMS airport website clearly talks about lack of staff. Lack of capacity means... nothing. Luckily, luchtvaartnieuws.nl clearly says " omdat er op Schiphol te weinig capaciteit is vanwege baanonderhoud en drukte ", and further "...

Re: China Eastern Boeing 737-800 crashes near Guangxi, killing all 132 onboard

It still says what I wrote "the two recorders on the aircraft were severely damaged due to the impact", and it adds thatthe data restoration and analysis work is still in progress. Yes. Exactly. So why do you state the following; China said the black boxes of the China Eastern Boeing 737-...

Re: China Eastern Boeing 737-800 crashes near Guangxi, killing all 132 onboard

China said the black boxes of the China Eastern Boeing 737-800 jet that crashed last month were badly damaged, leaving virtually no publicly available clues to explain its violent plunge into a wooded hillside, killing all 132 people on board. Are you sure China said that? That's not what I read el...

Good news ! It seems that SN is recovering faster than the others airlines @ BRU. I am quite sure that their current market share is about 50%.
Why such a statement?
Which other airlines @ BRU do you compare with SN?

On a B777, legroom is usually better than on a B737, even with a narrow seat. But on a Boeing, seats are narrower than on a similar Airbus.

Interesting, the links between Luxembourg and Africa are not big and focus mainly on the financial sector. The airline is already present in North Africa and Cape Verde yes for tourism but. The Cape Verdeans being one of the largest communities in Luxembourg. To see if they will target The Gambia. ...

Re: Trivia 2022 (miscellaneous news)

Yesterday 13APR Dakar welcomed a first Luxair flight from LUX. There should be a few charter flights until the winter season when Luxair will have up to 3 scheduled flights a week. A long flight for a narrow-body 737 (with narrow seats!), if you ask me. But there are other examples... It's not long...

Yeah, and which airline would be willing to have an interline agreement with AB? They would pay high price anyway. Basic need, yeah right. An interline agreement isn't a high risk for airlines, as there is limited time between effective date of travel and due date of payment. But for airlines with ...
