Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018

I seem to recall it’s in LJU for a C-check? And if I remember it correctly, it won’t return sporting the Tintin colour scheme, but it will return in SN colours. Until 2019 says the Brussels Airlines website... unless it's to be read as until the beginning of 2019 😉 No repainting during this check, ...

According to De Tijd, VLM will probably take over a few planes of Small Planet Airlines. Harm Prins denies the deal is closed yet. https://www.tijd.be/ondernemen/luchtvaart/vlm-brussel-dicht-bij-overname-small-planet-airlines/10067893.html The original announcement comes from fvw.de: https://www.fvw...

Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines

I've got the impression it's only a temporary solution? There should be a new operator in March, to succeed CityJet? This is how it was described in L'Echo (in French): " Le 1er mars, tous les Sukhoi devraient avoir disparu, avec l’entrée en vigueur du nouveau contrat qui succédera à l’accord signé ...

Update work stoppage baggage handler Aviapartner: no flights are handled by Aviapartner on Friday 26 October, until 27 October 6 am. We keep you updated about the situation. Re: Air Belgium in 2018

I agree their communication is rather messy, but on the other hand, if you look at the latest press release on their website ( https://www.airbelgium.com/en/press/media-statement-air-belgium-en ), it's rather clear: "Air Belgium confirms that it is to temporarily pause its flights from Charleroi Air...

Didn't LH say to SN, make money and then you can grow like Swiss.... Then LH takes important revenue away from SN... how are they supposed to make money! Just read that 2 people from Air Berlin and Ryanair are putting together a project called Swiss Skies to fly long haul starting with 16 A321LRs.....
