Re: Reopening Brussels Airport after the 22/03/2016 terror attacks

Why do you think a mother with 6 month old child is less suspect than an Arab looking guy with a beard? I am surprised that the majority on this forum is putting commercial pressure before safety. You preach minimum security, and at the same time you condem pilots who fly with minimum legal fuel, s...

Some civil servants have almost the same agreement.
But this is only 10 days a year.

Re: EU Rule 261/2004: news & court verdicts

@sean1982 So the coachtransfer from BRU to CRL will be be paid for. No doubt one would need proof of payment to claim a refund. What about the difference in airporttaxes? A small 2 Euro at CRL while its over 20 Euro at BRU. You can make a claim via the normal channels with a receipt of the bus tick...

Re: Ryanair in 2016

Don't know if its on topic but seems that the Dublin flights from BRU are diverted to CRL at least until 03/05. A friend of mine got a sms/email saying that his morning flight at BRU is changed to CRL @30/04. The option is a refund...there is no option to book a later flight the same day from BRU. N...

Some more news on the new fuel supplier TAFTNEFT. TNA services NV will be the new name of the company. The staff of Skytanking have been taken over. They have had a dreamstart at OST airport with the past weeks. Tatneft management have had a talk with port management to get the fuel supply delivered...

Very hard words here on twitter.

Is this deliberate to have agreement very fast as there must be a lot of lobbying going on.

Agree with ironspan.
OST has showed that they can take a whole lot more passengers.
TAP has decided to stay at the airport with one flight until 1 MAY.

Have the impression that BRU is taking on more traffic than they can handle now.

Re: Jetairfly in 2016

JAF mentioned in their pressrelease lst year that OST would get a 737-700 and a 737-800 from Easter 2016 till the end of the season.
Could be that the 737-400 is additional and that JAF have some plans with the airport.
Then again plans might have changed.

G-RAJG arrived this morning at OST from BHX.

Does anyone know if she will be based @OST or will be used on several JAF routes?

Re: Repositioning of BRU operations to other airports after attacks

Tried the Belgian call center today. Flights between LIS and BRU are still on schedule for this Sunday, the operator said. The alternative (which is likely going to happen IMO) is OST. I have to call back on Friday for updated information. They operate just 1 flight a day to/from OST, however I can...

The regional airports want to know where they stand, words of CEO of Antwerp/Ostend Brughes airports. Its difficult but its somewhat logical. He asks for a meeting with all the airports so things can be planned ahead. http://deredactie.be/cm/vrtnieuws/videozone/programmas/journaal/2.43585?video=1.26...

Air Europa still flying to Liege on the 29th (only UX1171 & UX1172) and all flights on the 30th. Turkish Airlines ' Brussels flights have been cancelled between 28 March - 1 April (included). (IMHO, they cancel because it's much easier to handle cancellations then repositioning) Adria Airways r...

Re: Repositioning of BRU operations to other airports after attacks

It looks like LGG took a real challenge indeed. on RTBF yesterday, Bernard Gustin thanked LGG and the walloon gov for their flexibility. It's bit gusty to say something like "Hun ogen zijn vrees ik wat groter dan hun maag", when somebody offers help. there is also the hope in ANR and OST...
