Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Well, the pilots are pointing out in their letter that there was bad management, a eurowings debacle and so on. Harsh words, but since they are working for the company, I guess there will be (a lot of?) truth in it. I really hope they do find a solution with the government too. Belgium needs a home ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

So, destinations to be axed are especially south and east Europe. No more Warsaw, Krakow, Vilnius, Zagreb, St-Petersburg... The hole east is now without SN present... That's a shame. The destinations in the south are ok to be axed in my opinion, except for Sevilla and Valencia (personal reasons, not...

With Air Italy, AtlasGlobal etc going bust, many A330 will go back to lessor.
maybe there are some opportunities for SN to expand a little at good conditions…
Don't think they'll do that with their reboot plan

Re: Storm Ciara 9-2-2020

According to FR24, your taxi (EI-DCI) is already in OPO since yesterday evening so no risk of "Due to the late arrival of the aircraft ...". Both FR24 and Flightstats.com maintain the flight on schedule. Forecast on arrival is windy but nothing so bad as to make landing here impossible. PROB40 TEMP...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

With the demise of Aigle Azur which had many flights to Algeria and the small over-capacity at SN due to TCs grounding, perhaps SN could consider flying in the week-ends to Algiers (and other Algerian cities). Just a thought... Probably Tuifly belgium will take over those routes from different citi...

Re: [Discussion] no direct flights anymore between Brussels and Miami

I do not think BRU is in extraordinary health at the moment. Losing YYZ (I know AC will then replace), lose MIA or lose PVG ... is not trivial ... and no new acquisition particular ... bof bof bof ! I see the glass half empty, I know, but I do not see the glass half full! Well, according to Atlanti...
