Re: Brussels Airlines in 2024
A destination we don’t talk too much on this forum is perhaps Helsinki. What could be the reason SN is not flying to this European capital city? I know it’s not a star airport but traffic, yields and transfer possibilities are not high enough to fly Helsinki for SN? Sometimes hard to understand to m...

Re: BRU Summer 2024: news, new routes, airlines
It's postponed, not cancelled. But those companies will also not forget it, it will not end by this. They will keep it in mind. Second, BRU has to grow on their own strength. Airlines has to come here bcs they want, not as a second option. We have already a very nice portfolio of new ones for next ...

Travel policy
Not sure if any topic on this forum exist already about corporate Travel policies. Is it correct premium travel is getting more restricted? Do companies rather restrict in order to cut costs? Or do we see an increase on business travel? Is business class allowance only something for big corporations...

Re: Miles and More
Hi, the new changes of M&M have not been discussed here yet. Would be great to learn your opinion on this. I am senator for probably the last 10y or more doing all my flights within LH group. Mostly this means much higher price than other airlines and flying trough Fra mostly on my case. Not all...

Re: 2023 Liège Airport (LGG/EBLG) latest news
ASL airlines signed MOU on May 19th to start direct flights from Belgium to El Salvador. The press release mentions cargo and passenger traffic. I assume it will only concern cargo flights as the permit is granted ASL airlines Belgium. Therefore I also assume flights will be conducted from LGG. Comm...

Malta bans all travel from France, Switzerland, Germany and Spain besides the already existing travel ban for Italy. My return flight to Brussels last Friday was 100% fully booked! Full of travelers from Germany, France etc... who try to return home. Strange they keep the Brussels (and London) rout...

Interesting article that says Slovenian government prefers to subsidize flights to Lufthansa hubs including Brussels, instead of starting a new Slovenian flag carrier.

Not sure if this is the right topic to post following article. Similar as the conflict between the big 3 European carriers/ME3 but now with the big 3 American carriers (Delta, United, American). http://verkeersbureaus.info/nieuws/2015/07/02/65620-emirates-ontkracht-aantijgingen-over-subsidie-en-onee...

As to the connections (with hotel lay over in BRU) to Africa that were mentioned in that Japanese news article: how common is it to offer this kind of connecting method? Re: SN high yields to Nordic countries
I believe nijltje69 made absolutely a valid point. Probably it may make sense for SN to tap into those regional smaller aiports? What are you guys thinking about this possibility? KLM is flying with smaller airplanes into Sandefjord, Alesund, Kristiansand, Trondheim, Bergen, Stavanger and of course ...
