Re: LH-aircraft A340 will operate for SN
Sabtech only does maintenance Airbus 330. All the rest (Avro, Airbus A319 and boeing) is done by own technics departement Not correct. We do everything on A330 (Line & Light), on 737 we only do Light maintenance. Line maintenance for the 737 fleet is done by Brussels Airlines. Avro's and A319 a...

Re: Issue with Triple 7 ?
I saw a report on UK SkyNews o Friday morning and they made a quite big issue of it, asking why BA would not ground its whole fleet of T7s immediately. Because not all BA T7's haven RR engines. Only the aircraft with registrations G-YMM* have RR Engines. The G-VII* and G-ZZZ* aircraft all have GE90...

Re: Sabotage at Sabena Technics BRU
This scandal (and yesterday's strike) is another motivation for Brussels Airlines to move to Lufthansa Technik, as soon as the deal LH/SN is done. This will most likely happen anyway, IF Lufthansa Technik will be able to cope with the capacity by that time. For your information, no Belgian airline ...

You can't say theu don't invest. They invested havely in theire french locations. Just my point ... their French sites, but BRU ??? But still alot of companys ONLY want SNT BRU. They are already finding out that sabena technics doesn't provide the same quality across the line (french sites) We have...

Re: Sabena Technics: 371 jobs at risk
Did they plan to rebuild the hangar lost to fire? You must be kidding... It was the intention to rebuild the hangar, but Brussels Airport wanted TAT to share in the costs. As we allready noticed, investment isn't really TAT's strongest side. They invested in the name 'Sabena Technics', which they n...

Re: Sabena Technics: 371 jobs at risk
Rumours about loss of jobs were allready circulating inside the company for quite some time now. However, nobody expected the number of jobs to be so high. 370 jobs means 1 in 3 people  . That would mean that fom the collegues in my team, at least 2 (or 1 and myself) will lose their job ... S...

Re: 3 Jan 2009 : 3 flights to BRU have been diverted
Can someone confirm if it's possible that I've seen a B757-200Wgl from Open Skies (G-BPEK?) around 14hrs, I expect it landed some 8min later than I saw it at Brussels. Yes, that is possible. They come for maintenance to Sabena Technics every 2 weeks, arriving on saturday and departing on sunday. Gr...

Any daylight arrivals/departures planned for OO-TCJ on January 10th, 11th, 12th or 13th ? I might consider comming to BRU to catch this one as the scheme is slated to disappear before the end of january.

Re: A330 had its EIS 15 years ago, first ever A330 is with SN
Does anyone know why B-HLJ (MSN 12) and B-HLK (MSN 17) were delivered to Cathay only in 1997 ? Looking at their MSN, it would suggest they are older than OO-SFM and are the oldest A330's. However, they are much younger and started flying 4 years after SFM. Can anyone explain this ? Delayed delivery...

This means that Kalitta is the only one who is a big question. With daily three to four planes on the tarmac and only a few B747-400 in their fleet or they must decide to send their old planes to LGG and only flying their B744 to BRU. Here in Ostend, for several days already, we've had some Kalitta...

OO-TCJ Christmas Colors
Hi all, OO-TCJ has received Christmas Stickers. On the forward fuselage there are 4 christmas balls, the tail is decorated with stars and the Thomas Cook Logo has been changed into a Christmas ball as well. Can't provide any pics though. I think the aircraft will start flying like that tommorow. Gre...
