Re: 2 additional frequencies to D.R.C. for Brussels Airlines
I'm curious to see how they will use those new rights. Possibity 1: Open a new route to Lubumbashi. Possibility 2: Increase the flights to Kinshasa (5x morning flight and 4X late flight to combine with the Washington one) Possibilty 3: As SN is short of Bussiness seat, send 2x a week a A319LR full b...

Re: 2013 Charleroi airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
Yes, what I was meaning what that 90 pourcent of the traffic is from Ryanair, even if I know that JAF and W6 are there too. However the number of airlines are decreasing year after year, before there were Ryanair, Jetairfly, wizzair, Air Blue, Air Arabia, Jet4you,... CRL says they are in contact wit...

Re: 2013 Charleroi airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
It's really nice to sea our airport growing, however let's hope some new airlines will come soon, Thomas Cook? Germanwings? Transavia? Norwegian? Sad to see this airport in the hand of Ryanair. CRL is doing huge investisment to welcome more PAX but what whould happend if FR moves to LIL, BRU or LGG....

Re: AF versus SN in AFI
I must say, too bad for SN, they were too short-sighted and kept adding shorthaul A319's that sleep on the tarmac at night instead of going for something that could do both Europe short & medium haul during the day and Africa during the night Tiring and ridiculous as usual! U have no idea or un...

Re: Wallonia declares total war on general aviation
yes, they slow the flow of landing and departing commercial aircraft, especially on the days when the traffic is heavy I'm sorry but I don't see the point, during the holidays, maybe there are more passengers, but no more flights, the traffic still the same, not heavier than other day, so what the ...

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
But now, woult it be a good idea to buy some A340? I mean if SN had a strong fleet of long haul aicraft, it would make sense, but with only 5 A330-300 and 3 A330-200, it would be stupid to have a new type of aircraft in the fleet.

Re: Wallonia declares total war on general aviation
I don't really understand why this desicion, CRL is short of stand and infrastructure for the PAX but the little aircraft doesn't need it, the only thing they need is the runway and I don't thing there is some problems of slot (yet) in CRL.

Re: Testimonies Feedbacks on Ryanair (press)
Personaly I never fly ryanair as it's against my principe, i don't like to fly with an airline wich is taking all the market. In another hand, this this an my first employer and I have a lot of respect for them because without Ryanair I would be still "on the ground" but Ryanair gave me th...

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
What will be nice with the 787 is that we will have soon a specialist of the maintenance of this a/c in BRU, Tec4Jet. The only problem is that buing brand new a/c is too expensive for SN, and you can't find any 787 in second hand yet. In another hand, I think that the A350 would be more suitable for...

Re: Which A330 next for Brussels Airlines?
Is so.. maybe an older B747-400 of LH was better or some extra A340-300 ex LX.. What would be the point to have a A340-300 in the fleet as it have the same capacity of the current A330-300 of SN? Subsidary question ;) , what's the difference between a A330 and a A340, the maximum range of...

Could SN get some bigger a/c like A340-500, if they want to expand their operation in Kinshasa, but lose their trafic right from the LAC.

Re: Do sexy flight attendants really sell more seats?
I totally, agree, this is definitely to me the attitude, the fact that they are charming and elegant, and this is what JAF should understand people don't care about having bimbo of 18 years old on board. In the airlines I have flown I would say that Air France is the best about charming and elegant ...

Re: Norwegian Air Shuttle
If I were CRL, I wouldn't lengthen the runway for long haul... Stij CRL is not only about low cost. There are some holiday flight as well, the length of the runway, is not enough to go to Egypt for example. Also CRL is one of the fatest growing airport in Europe, they are ambitious and will not foc...
