Re: 2013 Charleroi airport (CRL/EBCI) latest news
I very seldom react to a comment these days, but "Passenger"'s interpretation of the article on Pegasus move to CRL is just insane and totally dishonnest. For instance, nowhere does the journalist suggests that Mr Vandencruyse is a flemish extremist.( But I think you are) He merely says th...

Re: Jetairfly to start Miami in summer 2014
Interesting topic. If you don't mind me being a bit personal, as a travel agent in Miami I had the honnor ! (and received a junk trophy for it) of being City Bird's biggest seller of the route in America. City Bird had mixed success with their Brussels - Miami. The success was very seasonal and some...

doubt this one has a mere 21 seats : http://www.airliners.net/photo/Kingdom- ... f7f008c6a3 You're absolutely right. There must be exceptions !. I remember also that the " flight of shame" , back from SouthAfrica with the french football team on board was an " aeropostale" 737 a...

Re: dayreturn Le Bourget Airshow with Vizion Air (17-23 june
Le Bourget airport is managed by " Aeroport de Paris". ADP says that indeed, planes can land outside the inflight presentations hours, BUT according to the decree of 15th of November 1994, the airport is limited to aircrafts up to 21 Seats. ( all year long, including during " le salon...

Re: dayreturn Le Bourget Airshow with Vizion Air (17-23 june
I seriously doubt that the airport runways are open to private planes during the airshow. In flight plane presentation start at ten and don't stop till dawn. The parking apron is used for static exhibition so I don't really see this happening.

Re: Top 15 most misleading airport names (article HLN.be)
The "EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg" , although in France, is only 6KM from Basel, 20 from Mulhouse and 65 from Freiburg. There is however a general aviation airport in Freiburg ( City flugplatz, the one Homo ..! is talking about). That was quite simply a mistake by the HLN journalist.

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial perspective
nobody seems to be aware that Neckerman Belgium is doing very badly and I can tell you from a reliable source that a restructure is on the agenda. Since Neckerman is the main provider of passenger for Thomas Cook, I don't think TC airline's future looks very bright.

Re: Quote: "I was Ryanair's slave"
And when was the last time you read a french newspaper Mr Darjeeling? On the contrary Ryanair has VERY bad press in the walloon newspaper, very often undeserved. Many incidents are written about when they would go totally unnoticed with any other airline, including SN, the readers mail are full of u...

Gee, bonjour la branlette! " a competitor who receives millions from the walloon governement is not a fair competitor! " That's what the rest of Europe used to say about Sabena who received gazillions of millions in subsidies from taxpayer of both region, for 75 years! And may I remind Mr....

There's only six passengers in rows between 34 to 46 ( wing to last row)
Make a fake booking on the UA site, they'll offer you to choose your seat on the seat map.

Re: Largest Ever Aircraft Acquisition in Europe: 222 aircraf
incidentely, where are the A320 build these days? I seem to remember that all A319 and 321 were build in Hamburg and the 320 in TLS and China. Is that still the case? Read about a delivery of an A320 in Hamburg recently.

Re: Brussels Airlines BRU-MXP-BRU on 12/01/2012
I thought that flying into MXP for a meeting in Bergamo was pretty ludicrous, but hey, to each his own. Especially since MXP is west and BGY is east of Milan, meaning you had to take the dreaded autostrada through the North of Milan, probably at rush hour. Hope you didn't do it by taxi ! It must hav...

Re: New long-haul revolutionary configuration at B.Airlines
Are the Y-seats the same as LX? If so good choice, they are really cosy, even for economy! Really ? This is the first time I hear this ! A friend of mine just flew to HonK Kong with SR in Y and told me those were the worst seat he'd ever experienced ( I guess they are the new "Recaro"). P...

Re: Airports IATA codes
I would find very strange to use ICAO codes instead of IATA's. Whenever an airport code is mentioned here, it is usually in the frame of a discussions about travel. ie. " where will you fly..." etc.. As "Airazurxtror " rightly said, not everybody is familiar with IATA codes, but ...
