Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Some people have posted videos of the new livery on youtube using Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I've noticed that the name 'brussels' is at the bottom of the plane. Is this a fantasy or actually part of the new livery? https://cdn.flightsim.to/images/20/a32nx-brussels-airlines-2021-livery-mWSwV.jp...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
With the diverted JFK-flight debacle in mind, is it even possible to maintain a reliable long-haul network with only 9 planes ? (rhetoric question)

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Ok, my final verdict on the logo/livery (as a part-time graphic designer) 8-) - The new logo is good and with the bigger 'brussels' better recognizable - The new livery is OK but definitely needs some tweaking: There are too many dots on the fuselage. I repeat: too many dots. https://cdn.uc.assets.p...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Some people need to calm down. It's not a bad logo, it's not a bad livery. Give it some time. https://cdn.aerotelegraph.com/production/uploads/2021/11/brussels_airlines_neuer_markenauftritt_01.jpg Looking good on this A319 :P (Ok, maybe I would have left out some of the grey dots at the front of the...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Maybe the reason why so many planes (the CX one, the EW one,...) weren't painted in SN colors, was because they knew a new livery and logo was coming? There was no point in paining these aircraft in a c/s that was going away in the near future.

Some fan-made liveries found on Twitter :D https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FEBLRE-XIAguVWL?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 https://mobile.twitter.com/la_livery/status/1459249098951999488 I have to admit, I'm already starting to like the new logo! :o :P The bigger titles on the fuselage look great. Persona...

If the above tail is real, it's gonna be an almost complete white livery.... Not sure how this will look

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
About this "New Chapter" announcement: any chance there will be more news besides the new brand identity?
For example an announcement about a few new 787 or A350 for SN?

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Totally incredible. And utterly shameful. While many former employees are having to find their way in a new walk of life, and Belgian taxpayers are waiting for the refund of their (already unacceptable) 250M+ funding, this mediocre company finds no better way to spend our (not its) money than to de...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
Yesterday I arrived at BRU from a short trip. The scenes I saw at the airport were... sorry to say... disgraceful. And I'm talking about the baggage reclaim area . Arriving in the baggage reclaim area from the modern Connector is like taking a time machine and go 30 years back in time. But the fact ...

Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2021
BRU back to 'normal operations' I see: https://twitter.com/BrusselsAirport/status/1413792226639941638 Due to a technical problem, baggage handling is disrupted. Some flights are delayed but no cancellations are recorded. #brusselsairport is doing everything in its power to resolve this issue as quic...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
It seems you all forgot in what position SN was after March 2020. It was even uncertain if the company would survive! Would LH let them go? Would the government nationalize? Would the government bail out? ... The future of SN was highly uncertain at that time. This certainly added to the fact that r...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
My experience: I had a flight in March 2020 that got cancelled. Asked for a refund (via the website). Got an e-mail explaining me it could take a while, got another one saying they were processing it and a final one stating the money was underway. Eventually got my money back on my bank account in s...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
I recently saw the renovated facade of the (old) terminal and I can say: WELL DONE! Beautifully executed, both terminals now seem one unified building. Finally :) They could have chosen a new, higher roof structure (now they expanded the current/old one), but that's OK. Now I hope they slowly start ...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
Quite unfair. If you want to compare entrances, take BRU's terminal buildings as example and not this temporary infrastructure which makes the tents actually a good thing. If it was more than temporary a more definitive construction would have been build. It's not unfair. This IS the entrance area ...

Hey marketing department of Brussels Airlines, take note:

As the 'African specialist', SN should have done this. Already 1,4 million views. Priceless. This is how you take care of your brand.
