Re: Taxi drivers in Brussels are not friendly - Tripadvisor
I have lived in Brussels for 15 years and as someone who travels extensively I find the majority (but not all) Brussels taxi drivers and vehicles to rank as some of the worst in the "developed" world - ranging from indifference to rude to aggressive to criminal!!! I actually dred having to...

Compensation - Relevant Belgian authority to contact?
My recent flight (BRU-DUB w/ Aer Lingus on 10-08-2012) was cancelled and as such trip was delayed 12 hours. This was not force majeure and I want to make a compensation claim under the EU Reg. I will obviously claim with the airline, but I would also like to copy the appropriate authority... In this...

Re: Best BRU lounge is Oneworld :?
Not confined to short-haul. Relates to my attempts as a Star Alliance Gold Member to find a decent lounge when travelling from BRU. Have never been in the Jet lounge (had forgotten about them)

Best BRU lounge is Oneworld :?
Doesn't anyone else find it odd that the best lounge at BRU is from Oneworld (BA's)? Why is the Star offering so weak? SAS is probably the best Star offering and that's still pretty weak

Air Berlin from Brussels?
Does anyone think Air Berlin would ever consider adding a route from Brussels (to Berlin)?

BA off stand busing typical @ BRU?
I recently flew with BA to LHR to connect to a longhaul flight at LHR.
I was surprised to be bused from the terminal to our aircraft. Is this typical for BA at BRU. Are their not enough air bridges in the morning?

Re: Brussels airlines future and financial prospective?
Here's hoping What need is there for a "Belgian" airline anyway? I'd much rather get my 150% United status miles available on Lufthansa (ANA, Air Canada, US Airways and UA/CO)Shanti wrote:Lufthansa Brussels?

Re: UA-CO 777 downgraded service BRU-IAD/EWR
I take your point re UA biz case for selling 1st class seats to government employees - however at max. 2 conversions per month (see link below), we are at least 12, if not 24 months away from having new config 777s on the BRUs route. While you might enjoy the old lie-flat seats where one slides at a...

UA-CO 777 downgraded service BRU-IAD/EWR
While I am sure many are already all too aware of the fact that UA flies old configuration (old biz/1st) 777s from BRU to IAD... I have just learnt to my dismay that under the new UNITED the BRU-EWR route, currently served by a CO 777 (with full-flat 180 degree seats), will be served from the autumn...

Re: Full take-over of Brussels Airlines by Lufthansa ?
As far as I can see - you have proven my point. Yes of course I would get 125-150% extra if I pay for business or first class fares - that is a given. But as a star alliance gold i get 150% on economy class travel if I travel LH or UA - this is not the case with BMI, SN, Swiss or Austrian...

Re: Full take-over of Brussels Airlines by Lufthansa ?
The big problem for me - as someone who flies to US a lot - is the issue fact that while Lufthansa owns all these airlines (Swiss, Austrian etc) without the LH code, UA/Star Alliance members with status do not get benifit of status miles when they fly. As a UA frequent flyer member you only collect ...
