Indeed for the type of operations they do, they can easy manage without brake fans!
(long rwy's, ability to use full reverse, as I doubt that there are any noise restrictions over there...)

Looks to me SN has embarked on a serious investment project (see the enumeration of issues above), so maybe some communication on the matter would be welcome? Or is the aim to keep staff in the dark, so we won't start asking for things too? :roll: As always first communication to 'shareholders' how...

Considering the fact that the value of these slots will only go up, they could well have lent the money... Should be relatively easy to get a loan for this kind of transaction...
A wise investment anyhow.

Will it be with BELGIAN pilots and cabin crew on board? Also OO registration or not? Thanks for the information. Could well be, as in a pilot contract it states that they can be based 'anywhere' in the world with a max of 6 months...(most Belgian companies as far as I know put this in their contrac...
