Flap problems are not usual to the Bae146 or avro except for the flap computer on the Bae so for me this is a case of bad maintenance.

Re: Brussels Airlines RJ1H at Gothenburg flaps problem
Hi b.inventive, Indeed, and if I'm not mistaken, the Bae146-200 has got steel brakes, not carbon like the RJ's, and achieves the same landing performances. (thus certified for London City) The Bae-146 and the Avro-RJ are equipped with the same carbon brakes system The Bae-146 can be equipt with ste...

Re: A320 engine wouldn't start --> external truck used?
If one engine fails, you still have electrical power from the other one. Re: A320 engine wouldn't start --> external truck used?
and what if that engine stops in flight and has to be restarted? Following the MEL (minimum equipment list) the APU is not required if the aircraft doesn't fly ER operations. So if you lose an engine you can still use bleed air from your other engine witch is still running. In the worst case if you...

Re: A320 engine wouldn't start --> external truck used?
The small truck you saw is a pneumatic compressor. probably the APU bleed air didn't work to start the main engines. With the compressor they can start the main engines via the pneumatic duct.
