Re: Air Antwerp, a new airline from Deurne ?

New airline,
flying noisy,
(>30 year)old worn-out F50/F50's ?

Is that the best KLM/Cityjet can come up with?

Let's hope this is a cheap move to obtain an AOC,
and once an AOC is granted,
more recent a/c are brought in.

Re: Unknown from Antwerp harbour

According to this italian website, the helicopter was flown from Antwerp to Budrione di Carpi (near Bologna) at the end of May.

FYI: (one of) the Bell factor(y)(ies) is located at Montreal/Mirabel (Canada), hence the Canadian (test)registration upon delivery.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Eurowings' 2x A343, operated by Brussels Airlines, will leave the fleet this year and will be replaced by 3x A333, also operated by Brussels Airlines. The A333's will be sourced from Lufthansa, which will take back (and retire?) the A343's. https://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/nieuws/categorie/2/airlines...

Just one question: why did they not requisition the available Monarch planes and pilots instead of chartering Qatar and Air Transat planes that had to come in from far away?
I guess as Monarch's AOC is revoked these aircraft aren't listed on any valid AOC...

An opportunity for Ryanair: they can immediately hire the Monarch pilots who just lost their jobs.

Re: Helicopter crash in Huy kills two

I flew with the pilot on a number of pipeline inspection flights. Being a former BAF Agusta 109 pilot/instructor, he was often flying on the edge and taking (calculated?) risks. I once ordered him to return to the airport because I didn't want to fly with him anymore. Unfortunately the last risk he ...

As you might (not) have noticed, this flight is operated by an RJ100 in stead of the usual A319.
I assume the range of the RJ100 is not sufficient, so refuelling is necessary.
