Re: Strikes affecting Belgian airports in 2022
All in all, ahead of a busy summer, a good bunch of strikes is well deserved for some of the Brussels Airport companies (Brussels Airlines included). They treated people (employees) like under-humans, the payback is on the way. At least, passengers were warned well in advance. Avoid Brussels Airlin...

Re: Strikes affecting Belgian airports in 2022
Why do french speaking Belgians always have the idea others have to adjust to their language? Is it that hard to bring up the respect of learning and speaking dutch?? Why does Brussels Airport use the city of Brussels for its branding and marketing then ? As far as I know, only 5 to 7 percents of B...

Re: Strikes affecting Belgian airports in 2022
Aviapartner is actively hiring new staff, since many months. https://www.aviapartnerjobs.be/ Visibly, only one side of the country is allowed to apply  it reminds me the good "old days" of Belgavia. aviation doesn't widen the spirit of everyone. So be it. :!: Speaking of stri...

Re: Air Belgium in 2022
What is the crazy reason for registering Belgian freighters in the Austrian Registry? ASL Airlines Belgium does it as well. DGTA in Belgium is very slow (see the start of AB/KF) Why do you think most of the planes, gliders are registred in other countries ? Fast, no additionnal stupid questions.......

Re: Strikes affecting Belgian airports in 2021
Nothing formal here, no accusation. This is called editorial slant. It's your choice and I respect it.
Just an ascertainment I seem to share with other people by the way.
Appart from that, AV24 is doing a great job. I know it isn't always easy, certainly in narrow minded Belgium.

Re: Strikes affecting Belgian airports in 2021
Everybody is most welcome to join this forum and discuss. Aviation24.be has written not less than 3 articles on the strike. (cfr. 15-16-17 December) plus up-to-date images of the situation at the airport on Monday morning. For your information, Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws didn't dedicate a...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
There were more than 200 seats available on UA and LH from MUC to either JFK or EWR (3 flights) this Saturday.
Once more, I repeat, a bunch of AMATEURS. And I stick to it (the "bollekes" episode of the rebranding being another proof).

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
The latest press release of SN regarding S22 offer is much blablabla about the usual seasonal market destinations (ex-TC Belgium) but it indicates that YUL route has been dumped…

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Yep. I'm afraid crew1990 is right; those who have experience elsewhere do not complain at all. EDIT; that doesn't mean this should be the new standard... IMHO. Just saying. Strange then, because ex-TUI and ex-TCB crews are the spearheads of this current offensive. FT/DT is hard at TUI, but TUI has ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Not everywhere. In Belgium, for sure. But you can't blame them for their "fight" against poor conditions. I wouldn't be happy to see my kids working under unstable freelance conditions for a pay to fly low-cost carrier. Glad for you if you're happy with that. Just a small edit to add some...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Yep indeed that true, a document had to be sent to the hotels and it haven't been done. When cabin crew landed there were no booking indeed, but as hotel are not full at the moment the only problem was some extra stress at arrival but don't worry the crew got rooms in the hotel. However instead of ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
If earning around 2700-3000€ a month is being a "slave" I guess we do not have the same definition. Indeed we do have some crewing issues caused mainly with the vaccination as we have 3 days "off" after each dose and it makes some last minut trouble. Do you think we are the only...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
A whole bunch of amateurs they are… and Thanks God I never worked for them. I can see a hint of frustration in your post(s) when you talk about Brussels Airlines, sorry you didn't got the job  I am everything BUT frustrated not to work for Brussels Airlines. I've been working for one of their ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
Things go again the very wrong way at Brussels Airlines, at least for the cabin crew community (cockpit is soon to follow). We are very close to witness a notice of strike before the end of summer. A lot of complaints that reflect the deep unprofessionalism and amateurish management of SN. No transp...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2021
They are doing OK on African flights. Around 170-200 pax per rotation, sometimes full flights + good cargo loads.
They can be grateful to their African ops, because forward bookings are terrible on European side, even for this summer.
