A LOT OF CRAP AND STUPIDITIES. That's what I read here. This turns out to become an endless discussion. Comparing the wage of a Molenbeek policeman and a b-air cabin crew or things like that will not make things easier.        This should remain inter...

Very good news indeed... If only they would have the people to crew those new aircraft! My best friend works for them and she's really down... apparently the big exodus has started with Brussels Airlines recruiting and on top of that, they cannot find the (unexperienced) people they need! JAF is fa...

Brussels airlines don't have to worry, same thing happened in AMS and see how things go now. SPL got there own low cost gates (H) where BMI Baby, Easyjet, Sky, Jet2 and others are now boarding. KLM is not having any impact on the fact that the lcc are now at SPL. They did lower their prices but bel...

Wait and... see. We've seen links to newspapers stating that Jet would start BRU "anytime soon" quite often. Don't you think ?

The 9W file has been around for more than 2 years now. And nothing concrete yet.

The best solution with such cases, grab the interphone and ask the captain to perform a "brake test" sequence.

It will calm them down...

Anyone heard about Jet's plans to open a base in BRU ?? I know it sounds strange but some SN pilots leave (or will) their company in the purpose of flying for Jet but ---> based in BRU ! Also, some Sabena Technics engineers will soon be trained to work on the 777. Even though the A332 is the likely ...

This involves two issues: * The guy could have endangered all the other +250 pax if his body would have blocked the nose gear when retracting. * Security in Dakar/Banjul around the plane ? If a guy can go into the landing gear, he can place anything else instead no ? That said, it's sad... :( :( Dj.

Topic: SN Brussels' expansion in Africa: it may acquire Camair

It's simply one of those African stories... Camair is all about a huge mess as is the entire Cameroon aviation. To establish a hub in DLA, KGL or EBB is not a good idea at all. SNba will always face the same problems. Nor sending three very old and unreliable BAe146 in such countries. Guess why othe...

There are currently around 25 (!!) potential customers to acquire A330, yes, 25. All of them look at the Austrian and Air Madrid A330. So, no way for SN to negociate, it will be market's price. And it's always the leasing company that has the last word when it comes to decide. Many rumours that have...

Dear Darjeeling, I think you're totally right. your post express also my feelings.. SN has to move...but they're dramatically undercapitalised,so they can not do anything(I think they still want A330 for the lease price of 2002) The business plan is totally unexistant, they dont know where they're g...

I feel much excitement about the "possibility" of SN extending its long-haul fleet !! But this is FAR from being sure. Though they badly need it... (an A330 is AGAIN stuck in Africa today resulting in the NBO flight being cancelled). Actually, SN is looking for 1 or 2 extra long-haul, the ...
