Trip advice AMS \ BRU to KBP (Kiev)
Dear members, Im planning a trip from either AMS or BRU to Kiev Borispol coming winter. After an inquiery, there 2 options for me. 1. Flying directly AMS-KBP with Ukrainian Airlines (code sharing with KLM, which fly on less good time for me). BRU - KBP is also Ukr. Airl (code sharing with SN) 2. AMS...

attn oo-tuc I do agree with your view on the MP-case. However, be aware that KL/AF does not want that the pax-division of MP wil go into foreign hands cq in the hands of a (potential) competitor. This specific issue makes this case so interesting. What kind of solution will KL/AF for this delicate ...

IMHO it would be better if Martinair is bought (with or without the freight devision) by a private equity player or touroperator like Thomas Cook. Then there will come money to buy/lease new B 787's. Dutch or European regulators won't agree on full takeover of MP by KLM-Air france i guess. Lets hope...

IMO it would be perfect for the B767 fleet of dutch charter\scheduled carrier Martinair (MP). Although their birds are getting quite old ('89-93 years of build), it seems they cant replace them due to internal arguing (read: shareholders KLM\Maersk vs Management MP) and the financial side. These win...

My guess is that Boeing first concentrate on a composite 737, before they go to a full new designed composite 777. In this case the old 777 can be seen like the A330 now is compared with the 787, Airbus still sells them. Boeing will attack Airbus on the single aisle planes. Boeing will be leading th...

It's true that OO-TUC had some big problems, especially in the begin it was a disaster plane. But, a rabbit or other kind of animal in the engine's isnt a fault of the OO-TUC. Ive flown with OO-TUC on the route BRU-PUJ in comfort class and it was one of the best flights i had. Outbound was a 5 min d...
