Any person that has worked their way up to a B.737/400 Captaincy position in any airline and any country on this planet , is definetly skilled enough to fullfil that role! I don't just blame the crew in this accident but I also blame the airline, who hasn't introduced better crew co-ordination betwee...

In reference to the Garuda B737/400 crash, apparently the weather conditions were calm at the time of the proposed landing. It appears the aircraft was approaching the runway at a too higher speed than normal and some how over-shot the runway. --------------------------------------------------------...

mr.Sn_Bigbirdy,i dont understand what you are talking about? My point is,that after the engine failure, the Fokker 100 should have had the ability to continue to climb straight ahead with the one engine in-operative! If the Fokker 100 had an engine failure before the decision speed, then the take-off...

I agree with you Buzz, the Fokker 100 should have continued flying straight ahead with the failed engine or stayed on the runway if the engine failed below the required decision speed.

Its difficult to comprehend why a death on the ground has unfortunantley occurred.

Has the B735 got the range to fly nonstop on a 5 to 6 hour flight with a full passenger load AND carrying the legal reserves on a flight from OHRID to DUBAI? A B737/500 hasnt got the range to fly with a full passenger load, nonstop with the required reserves from Belgrade to Dubai, not only that its not economical to fly 130 passengers on the B735 for 5 hours to Dubai.
You have a think about that one Mr. Jatboy!
