Re: Some ANA news:

Next week a meeting takes place in BKK in which new slots will be decided for ANA. You never know, as within now and 1 year 2 extra daily flights between JP en EU will be installed. Notice also that ANA is making a lot of profit... SF This might be great news for (let's make a bet...) BRU and FCO ?...

I would prefer to hear some good news about carriers form the Far East and/or South East Asia planning to include BRU in their network.

It seems that 2006 will be a good year for BRU with some new long haul destinations.
Let's hope a Japanese carrier (most probably ANA) will follow that example soon !

Great for BRU, however it's sad to see BRU can't take advantage of its potential ... I'm not sure about that ! This award puts BRU (the political heart of Europe) again on the aviation world map. I guess especially Asian carriers are sensitive to quality aspects. So let's see it from the bright sid...

It's indeed a choice between BRU and ZRH. I don't know what the fares are at ZRH but BRU is a very competitive player for the airports around us. BRU is a little bit cheaper. BRU can also give good connections with Africa and Europe. And there is space available at our airport. And also important H...

You are correct ATC, BRU can't wait until 2008 or later to get it's connection with Asia. How longer you wait how stronger competition, etc. But, if ANA or JAL have some ops or fianacial problems you can not force that of course. The fact is the businessworld here in Belgium is asking for that conn...

Prime minister Guy Verhofstadt had a visit today in Japan. One of the headlines was that there is a need for a direct connection between Japan and Belgium. This is generally asked by multinationals and minor companies. With this connections they want to attract more investors in Belgium. At the mom...

SABENA 4 jaar later - DE ZEVENDE DAG - TV1

I wonder what Verhofstadt and Vande Lanotte got in return from the Swiss in the famous 'hotel agreement'. I can hardly imagine that it was just 'one way giving' towards the Swiss. I'm still an angry 'ex-Sabenien' and I wish to all my former collegues and Belgian citizens that we will know the comple...
