Etihad Airways AUH-BRU-YYZ part 2

I just thought it is a good idea to open part 2 of this discussion ( part 1 got almost 9 pages of discussion ).
The return flight YYZ-BRU-AUH had a Pax load of 35% ( 77 Pax ) . Although it is not good but i guess it is not too bad either for a 1st flight .

I guess it all depends if the Pilot's union gives the green light to the B777 / 787 deal . AC doesn't have enough long-haul Aircraft to operate these routes , if ever.

Grrrreat news for Toronto and Brussels . Etihad will be the 50th Airline to serve YYZ .
Wish them all the best . Etihad is the 2nd Airline ever from an Arab country to serve YYZ .RJ used to fly AMM-AMS-YYZ in the 90's before they suspend the route.

They received 5 A332 in 2005 , and waiting for 2 others to be delivered .
They will have 15 long-haul Aircraft in total that will allow them to fly anywhere they want .
7 A332
5 B772
3 A342
They are also looking at expanding their long-haul destinations to include
Houston and Hong Kong .

Egypt Air will also increase flights to JFK during the winter season to 5 weekly using their B772 .
They usually operate 5 flights/week in the summer then reduce it to 4 weekly in the winter.
There are rumours that MS wants to fly daily to JFK as the route is doing very well.

I am not exactly sure but i assume the same as Ethipian Airlines and Kenyan Airways :)
Besides , after joining the Arabesk Alliance , it may transport tourists from the Middle East and Europe to BKK .
They have 2 A332 , 4 A313 and 3 B738 .
