My equipement :
Canon EOS 10D / Canon EOS 500N
Batterygrip BG-ED 3 (for 10D) / BP-8 (for 500N)
Canon EF 75-300 ( no USM )
Canon EF 35-80
Cosina EF 100-400
Sigma EF 18-50
Tamron EF 28-300 XR
+ UV-filters on all lenses (for the protection of the first lens element)
2x SanDisk Ultra II 512Mb
Vosonic X-Drive Pro 3310 (40Gb)
My list for improvement :
Sigma 50-500 (2006, replacing my oldest lens, the 75-300 and the 100-400)
Canon 28-300 IS (2008, replacing the Tamron 28-300 XR of which I am not satisfied)
Some photography advice :
Never go above ISO 100 unless really neccessairy
Avoid 'Auto' functions on your cam. Try to do everything manually (exept for auto-focus offcourse ) You will first have to try a while before getting the result you want, but eventually its worth the wait, cause you get way better results than with 'Auto' functions !
@ Robin_Bamps : I don't know if it is wise to say on your website you've got a scanner and you use it when you go spotting ... (just my opinion offcourse)

My equipment:
Euh...Hp Photosmart 945
Just sold it and bought a Fujifilm S5500 (no good)
Now ready to buy Minolta DimageA200
My question: In one of these forums, someone told about buying it's Nikon D70 in Germany because it's much cheaper. So where exactly can I find those prices or where is that cheap German shop?

Hi Rotor,
Take a look at : http://www.topvisionshop.de/

You have a point on that one, although I haven't experienced any problems until now, and it's standing there for more than a year already. Police can't prove that the owner of http://www.robinbamps.tk is meAndries wrote: @ Robin_Bamps : I don't know if it is wise to say on your website you've got a scanner and you use it when you go spotting ... The main goal of putting that info on my equipment page was to inform (foreign) spotters that are searching for a good scanner (because it's a very good one, and most people I know have a Uniden).
Although, I'll remove it from my equipment page when doing my next update.

Hi there Rotor,
For the lowest prices in DE & NL you can always check tweakers pricewatch !
That's how I found TopVision and I see that they have the lowest price too for the D70 + 18-70 DX lens.
Pricewatch Nikon D70 + 18 - 70 DX lens
I'll include the link to the Pricewatch page for the camera alone ( body - no lens )
Nikon D70 Body
And .... because i'm a 300D fan the Pricewatch page for the 300D body !
Canon EOS 300D Body
I hope I was of any help on this one !

as for TopFoto : it is TOP, very small shop, but great service and sharp prices
I've bought my Tamron lens in Düren and can only recommend that shop. It's a little shop indeed but the prices are very attractive and the people are very firendly (at least when I went there )Buzzydriver wrote: we have plans to buy a digital camera at topfoto at duren germany, anyone who has experience with that shop?

How nice to see the usual members again with off-topic replies to my messages
By the way, I'm sure that police knows that a lot of spotters are using a scanner, even in Belgium !
