The minister for Infrastructure has refused the so called Local Rule Proposal, intented to add more cargo flights to AMS by increasing the total number of flights:

Re: Amsterdam flights capped; some cargo operators compelled to move elsewhere
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport saw its cargo volumes decline by 2.6% in 1H 2018 as a result of fewer freighter services. The airport handled a total of 844,317 tons of cargo during 1H 2018.

Air Bridge Cargo should leave AMS, heading to LUX soon, if I well understood.

They won't leave Amsterdam: they will only remove some flights from AMS to LUX "...where they will concentrate their activities..."TLspotting wrote: ↑15 Sep 2018, 14:04 Air Bridge Cargo should leave AMS, heading to LUX soon, if I well understood.

News about Maastricht Airport: it seems that the Province will decide on Friday to reduce traffic at MAA. The use of the full runway length (2.750m) will be reduced, and "loud cargo aircraft" will be phased out.

And not only in MAA they reduce the flights for the heavy cargo's but today the city of Maastricht decided also, or better saying "their wish", is that AMS cannot grow anymore till 2023. So they prolonged the time already from 2020 till 2023 till there is more clarity about noise, emissions, etc
Regarding MAA, this is an option that ET and EK can move again some of their flights to BRU. But only the most modern ones, as BRU don't want noisy, old and poluting planes. So the B777 could be
Regarding the pax flights, this is maybe also an opportunity, who knows, but it will be very interesting the next coming years as BRU has still space during certain times of the day....
Re: Amsterdam flights capped; some cargo operators compelled to move elsewhere
Only fully loaded 747 need the extra runway length, the impact may be limited. Its a political show.
But airlines get the message anyway.

The Dutch Parliament wants that the slots now used for AMS-BRU-AMS are used for 'more valuable routes':
