Based upon the Trends/Knack/Tendances comparison with turnover figures 2014, ASL Airlines is the biggest Belgian airline. In 2013, ASL was n° 2 (2014 was +30% for them).

A 747 in ASL colors is parked a de-icing zone with OE registration.
Regarding the others 747, we never see the emirates ones, juste one in TNT colors. Lately Cargolux and CAL have been flying for TNT.

Pity that nothing on the plane says that it is operated by ASL.

Re: ASL Airlines Belgium (ex-TNT Airways) news 2017
What do you mean by "took delivery" ?
As far as I understand, it's just an ASL aircraft in Fedex colors ? But the aircraft is still operated by ASL with a belgian crew ?
Re: ASL Airlines Belgium (ex-TNT Airways) news 2017
About that...
https://www.cargoforwarder.eu/2017/07/3 ... perations/
"We have the impression that concern about regional interests and employment, which are of the utmost importance in Wallonia, have led to extensive concessions in this respect”
That is very likely true.
But there is maybe 30 jobs on the ground for 1 pilot job.
Everybody protects its own part of the cake i guess...
“We (and our government) should be careful and even reluctant when considering granting traffic rights to non EU carriers"
I totally disagree.
Belgium should accept all requests.
No wonder why Qatar cargo moved some flights to LUX
This belgian pilot association is creating a lot of damage !

Re: ASL Airlines Belgium (ex-TNT Airways) news 2017
BeCA represents some 600 pilots working for the following companies: ASL Airlines Belgium, Brussels Airlines, EAT/DHL, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines & TUIFly Belgium, in addition to expatriate members, jobseekers and pilot students.
NBB mentions 62.538 jobs for the whole country.
In LGG, 280 asl pilots from an RTBF source and between 6000 (source nbb) and 7000 (source wallonia) jobs.
Now lets imagine we allow ethipian and qatar to have both their world hub in BE using their 777 ... that would be extremelly positive for the country without hurting too much those 737 pilots of ASL....
