Is someone else experiencing the problem when using the ifdg a320 that apart for the nav lights, no lights are actually functional: not the strobes, nor the rotating beacon,...
Do you know how to solve it? If anybody knows, I would appreciate the help because it's a great model, but it just looks so dead if the lighting does not work properly. That is exactly why I don't use this model for the moment when flying for my FS passengers airline.
Regards,
Tom
ifdg a320 - lighting problem
You'll need to copy the effects files to the Effects folder in the main FS9 directory.
When you downloaded and extracted the zipfile (for example the Thomas Cook livery ifdg_a320_tcx.zip) into your aircraft folder, you should see the following directories:
Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines\effects
Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines\model
Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines\panel
Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines\sound
Aircraft\iFDG A320-214 Thomas Cook Airlines\texture
"effects" should be placed a few levels upwards, into the Flight Simulator 9 main directory. Overwrite the existing one, it will simply add the missing "fx" files.
