Easier to spread your attention and kindness to 5 pax than to a full loaded aircraft With 5 pax you can easily make a personal talk with every pax and still do your service, how do you want to do that on a fully booked flight? So in my opinion not a very hard task to be friendly and do a good service if you only have 5 pax.
But maybe that is the advantage of the low load factors...

Re-reading my post I understand that I should have written it differently. I wrote "again" not to refer only to the first flight that morning but also to my previous experience with them a few weeks ago. On a nearly full flight to ZRH the service was as excellent as it was on the almost empty flights
Total June figures for CGN - RLG - CGN are in average 20 PAX per flight. In general I would say, that his wasn't that bad, but when the flight ANR - CGN is pretty bad, the total route ANR - CGN - RLG - CGN - ANR is not profitable. So finally, no surprise that they stopped it.

For filling up cruises you don't need daily flights. Maybe there still is a deal but more like a charter?

Yes, my bad. It's VO1480 as the Munich and Zurich flights have been combined again tonight. That flight is routed MUC-ZRH-ANR.
